Each Green Lantern’s universal encounters are updated in real time and posted in the Book. Batman’s knowledge is limited. Green Lanterns knowledge is universal.
So you just disregard the creation of an entire self sufficient solar system created by John Stewart. The inability to complete the task was solely because it required more than the 24 hour charge to complete. What that means is if the ring had a long charge the task would have been completed. Creating a self sufficient solar system is power beyond powerful and something Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman couldn’t even envision.
