Hi! I've found your reviews very helpful. Over the fence in getting a C210 for just a small store that I'm putting up - since I'm gonna be always far from the store's location, I was thinking that it'd be better if I opted for the Tapo Care subscription instead of an SD card. Would you happen to know how much the pricing is for the basic subscription for it?
Does the Tapo Care subscription include non-stop recording of videos as long as the C210 camera is on?

Recording is infinite for 7 days (basic) and 30 days (premiuum). It's ₱175/month for 1 camera. Thanks. Actually, you don't need subscription because the microSD card capacity is 256 and it will last for several days. Recording is on loop. Please subscribe .

If I opt for the SD card.. with 256GB good for one week - "looped recording" - does this mean that it automatically overwrites the video recorded by itself, and, that the locally stored video can be viewed wherever I may be as well, as long as I access the camera in the Tapo app?

regarding t he night vision ir test, the tapo could do better, if you place it away from any close objects, because any object close to the IR source will create the glaring image as seen on this test. as you saw the xiaomi camera location didnt have any object close . thanks for the comparison
Yes the test is biased. The IR is reflected by the object at the lower left corner.
It's not biased. Check my replies to earlier comments. I had already admitted that it was a mistake putting the Tapo C210 on top of a white object. Read the other comments.

But there is a major problem in xiomi of connecting.
When power supply off then it not connect automatically.

Both has continuous loop recording 24/7.

I read from other reviews that 360 2kpro can read and write more than 32gb sd card have you tried it?
@@Michael-fl9lh I haven't tried it but others say it can support up to 64GB.
i think tapo cam lens dirtt need to be cleaned. im using it actually, seems much more better then you showed. night review also not same conditions. IR reflection on the table seems where u used on.
It was cleaned since its original location was different. Maybe, the IR reflection you've mentioned may have contributed. Thanks for noticing it. However, Mi 2K Pro has still better video quality than Tapo's. It also has better AI.

Yes. I realized later that C210's color was affected by the white surface of the microwave where i placed it. Nevertheless, the C210 can't beat the MI 2K Pro.
Xiaomi seems to have more fps?
Yes. Tapo C210 has only 15fps but latest Tapo cams have adjustable fps up to 25fps. Check my video on Tapo C225.

C211 has an aperture of 2.4 while Mi 2K Pro is 1.4. That alone, lamang na si 2K Pro. Both is 3MP cams.
Xiaomi stopped home surveillance record feature..big shocking! Now what if ur camera stolen?
I think it's only for cloud recording. You still record all events on the SDcard.

Between MI 2K Pro and C400, which one do you suggest for indoor recording?
Mi 2K Pro if you want the camera to track pets. C400 if you want only human tracking. I chose Mi 2K Pro because of the pet tracking. Thanks

Tapo cameras use RTSP protocol. I don't know if it works with ONVIF.
Per Tapo.com, their cameras work with both ONVIF and RTSP.

C225 is not available in the Philippines market. We only have C200 and C210. Thanks
