I love how wholesome this comment section is. There's no "first", nobody begging for likes, just people dreaming about a peaceful morning in a vintage café.
I'd love that. Calming, soothing music, pleasant surroundings, good company, somewhere to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. I love watching period dramas and films made or set in the 1920s, 30s and 40s. I just love the atmosphere, the way people dress and speak.
There's a tea room near portsmouth called nineteen four-teas, everything is 1940s themed from the decor, to the menu, to the staff that wait on you. Its an amazing experience I recommend it x
Went to Tea Dances, escorting Debutantes in Washington, D.C., 1960s. So much fun. Good times. Lester Lanin was the big Band name. We hopped. We bopped. We did The Slide. No worries.
I love this music, always have. I'm 34 years old, and for as long as I can remember, I've loved this music. My father, may he rest in peace, also loved this music, and every time I listen to it, beautiful memories of my father listening to this music come to mind and fill my heart. In fact, when he was in bed and no longer showed signs of life, I wanted to say goodbye to him with music like this, while the doctor told us he was gone. I truly love this music.
someday i’ll move into an apartment with huge windows, put cream colored curtains and open them slightly during the early mornings, play this in a vintage music player while reading a book and drinking coffee. i never knew i needed this kind of music.
Вот странно, я тоже не знала что мне нужна такая музыка ❤ удивительно конечно, наверно в этом и есть мудрость искусства и творчества человека, по прошествии стольких лет затрагивать души других поколений людей.
Listening to this makes me want to feel like a pretty brunette girl in her 20's, who's obsessed with floral wavey dresses and patterned scarfs. She lives somewhere in france and owns a small little pretty java joint/coffee shop in the 1950's. She truly loves the warm sunny spring weather. She's very good at her job, and works at the shop all by herself. Has a small little white cat who she loves dearly. She lives a perfect middle class life in my point of view, i wish to be just like her one day.
Time traveling back two generations to enjoy what my great grandparents would have been listening to. This is one of the most rewarding aspects of the Internet.

I played this last night while having a relaxing much needed spa night. I used an under eye mask, lit a candle and turned off the lights. It was heavenly.
I'm in my '30's and have loved it all my life. It reminds me of Sunday dinner at my grandparents' house, and my Pops would sing! (When I got home, I'd put it on the radio until I fell asleep, then my mom would come in and turn it off for me. The two will always be entwined! 😊
Do you imagine, being a writer, sitting in a little corner cafe with this soft music flowing through the air, a cup of coffee in front of you and the scent of the variety of coffee beans, maybe is raining just a little and the sun is going down slowly painting everything with salmon and lavender tones
I told my beautiful Novia that I want to learn to dance to this music. I know as a couple we will bond and become even closer. And I just love this music. Kudos to the person running this page.
I wish I could tell my grandparents (they've all passed on) that I now get why this music is to be treasured. Without a doubt, people will still be listening to this in another hundred years.
I agree, 1930s and 1940s music is great. So is jazz 1920s. And so are those quaint tunes from the 1900s and 1910s, you should listen to some of those sometime as well. I love all of them. I've wondered why I love those old tunes so much, it almost feels like I was around in the early 1900s, but I wasn't because I was born in the 1970s

To all who are listening to this wonderful music, I hope that after the pandemic we will meet at a tea party and we will try to be in 1920. Remember to wear monocle
I absolutely love the whole aesthetic of those times (the music, furniture, clothes, cars, everything), but as a woman I'm glad to be alive during the 21st century xD
Amen. They were horrible years to live in for most according to my grandparents, no rights for many, hunger, poverty and corruption. The music, fashion & luxuries are very charismatic though. That's the bit they agree with. But as a mother you would spend your entire Friday or Wash day at a river getting blisters on your knuckles trying to clean clothes. It was called wash day as it took all day to do the wash.
@@b12blib we still have hunger, poverty and corruption and war in the world etc. i understand the wash day though. we grew up with the wooden cloth washer board. my parents both grew up in rural regions with no electricity, no running water etc. so they passed the self reliance onto us.
Hopefully, we met in another lifetime in the past. Our old souls brought us together once more for a night full of music, love, and celebration of life.
Starting off with "Tea For Two"!! When I was a little girl my dad would play this song on the piano for me and my twin. He passed when I was five years old. I like to think he's saying hello whenever I hear t42❤️
Ah man this comment section is the best I've seen in so long! Full of nostalgia and warmth for something a bunch of us are too young to have experienced. Wonderful.
Once I have kids I'll make sure to fill my house on vinyls with 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s, I want my kids to grow up listening to this beautiful melodies we now on 2000s are able to listen and enjoy
pov its the year 20XX, casually drinking tea/coffee in this nearly opened café. the atmosphere was calmed and relaxed where one can just peaceful fall asleep without a care in the world. the shop was packed yet small whispers linger not wanting anyone to feel uncomfortable thats not what the cafe was all about. someone bumps into you as they softly said sorry with a smile, you smiled back and shooked your head saying, "its no problem. its packed in here anyways." you said as you moved your stuff to let the other sit down. they sat down and began to drink their coffee, while reading a book they brought. "you know i feel like i meet some of these people back in the 1920s. i dont know this place just feels...nostalgic like ive been here before reading my book and drinking a cup of coffee." they spoke softly as i smiled and looked up at in the window. "maybe we were there, hundreds of years ago this place was a cafe playing the exact music live. just this time it feels like a long lost memory..." i said. they chuckled with a smile with a small nod. they went back to their reading while i watched the people walk by.
there's a coffee shop near my house, it's a mini greenhouse, plays this type of music, tasty drinks at a reasonable price. it's probably the best cafe I've ever been in
not me back again at this absolute gem of a playlist w my all time fave songs (bcos of this channel)!! my bf calls me a time traveller cos we're both 17 and this is literally my fav era and genre !!

I think this one is my favorite of all the PPVM albums. Other than the Fascinating Rhythm one. So good. I bought both of these in hard copy. :) Thank you.
The Django Reinhardt selection at the beginning is not just vintage tea party music… It is jaw-droppingly, heartbreakingly, awe-inspiringly beautiful. Now on to the rest of the video, which I hope is as good as the wonderful opener.
You'd probably be surprised at the number of people out here, sitting down and grooving away. I accidently discovered this gold mine and I'm in heaven....and my heart beats so that I...............'
one day i will find people that would be excited to don 1920s vintage and have a tea party in the garden while listening to this music straight off a slate record. i need to live out my socialite dreams.
You're having a tea party with your niece while spending your time writing messages on internet videos rather than paying attention to her. While listening to this old music you should adopt an old social standard, miss.
Love listening to the music of my parents. Born 1919, suffered through the Depression, joined Army (Paratrooper meets Army nurse in Naples hospital-and I appear 8/11/1945). Nostalgia if fun and meaningful.
Dad was born in 1908.....orphaned, his brothers and sis became musicians to survive. Days were tough. These were the songs. I had to become a musician, eh?!!
When these musicians were recording their songs and records were not bottled and sold like they are today, they lasted. For instance, I will be 83 next March, and I don't ever remember a high school dance when Hoagy Carmichael's Stardust From the 20's) was not played. My folks (1915-16 respectively) kept these songs alive in our house. My dad was a prominent building contractor in our town of Opelika, Alabama, and once he did some work on our local radio station, "WJHO, the Mouth of the South, pronounce WHO ... the J is silent". The station gave him two boxes of old 78's, and he gave them to me. There were old Columbia, RCA, Blue Bird labels. To this day I can sing the words to most any popular song from the 30's and 40's, but I couldn't sing a current tune if my life depended on it. We were a great people once, Young Folks, we were a great people ... don't forget that.
@@Radley84 I hope you are still alive and doing well. Could you share some more memories of you? God bless you I am honored to talk to people of older generations!
What a fantastic mix! Makes me think of my grandmother, who passed away last year. She gave me a bunch of her records when she and my grandpa moved into a nursing home. I offered to copy them onto CDs for her but she said there was no need, she knew them all by heart. She also said that Irving Berlin's "Heat Wave" is "proof that your generation did not invent the stupid pop song." XD

To all who are listening to this wonderful music, I hope that after the pandemic we will meet at a tea party and we will try to be in 1920. Remember to wear monocle
I'll have it bookmarked in my calendar :)
A monocle my fellow??? I have not once seen a man wear a monocle. Spectecles my fellow.
@@BlackstarAndTheTimekeepers Of course my friend!! remember the first Penguin in the 60s Batman TV series , he used to wear one.
오늘 대한민국 서울은 비가 옵니다.
빗소리와 함께 음악을 듣습니다.
행복 하네요.
Mom & Dad met at a tea dance after WW2. Thanks for the music !

YES! My 12 year old has just turned round from his computer screen and asked me ‘what type of music is this because I like it’ ! RESULT!
Love this !!
Clearly a young man of taste,...
Yeah 😍😍😍
I've been looking for this all my life...
Hopefully, we met in another lifetime in the past. Our old souls brought us together once more for a night full of music, love, and celebration of life.
Today's pop music is giving me headache. This gives me sense of peace and joy
tw
Unlike the 1920’s -1990s
Well, you can like Both? i like all 60s/70s rockpop psych, and all jazz. and also Hardstyle :)
But yeah, Today's pop ish trash:(
It's music !
You should listen to FUN.
Invokes a romantic period. The Great Gatsby.
😂❤
Starting off with "Tea For Two"!! When I was a little girl my dad would play this song on the piano for me and my twin. He passed when I was five years old. I like to think he's saying hello whenever I hear t42❤️
❤😊🎉🎉🎉music does away with time, so sweet to just be in the moment. !!
Ah man this comment section is the best I've seen in so long! Full of nostalgia and warmth for something a bunch of us are too young to have experienced. Wonderful.
Born in the 21st century, but I love listening to early 20th century music.
This playlist is my "to study playlist", my "to clean the room playlist", my "to drink a warm infusion playlist" its all that its good
can relate
Once I have kids I'll make sure to fill my house on vinyls with 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s, I want my kids to grow up listening to this beautiful melodies we now on 2000s are able to listen and enjoy
On my fridays shift, working alone in the warehouse, everybody else already gone to their weekends, i stumble across this gem if beauty

its the year 20XX, casually drinking tea/coffee in this nearly opened café. the atmosphere was calmed and relaxed where one can just peaceful fall asleep without a care in the world. the shop was packed yet small whispers linger not wanting anyone to feel uncomfortable thats not what the cafe was all about. someone bumps into you as they softly said sorry with a smile, you smiled back and shooked your head saying, "its no problem. its packed in here anyways." you said as you moved your stuff to let the other sit down. they sat down and began to drink their coffee, while reading a book they brought. "you know i feel like i meet some of these people back in the 1920s. i dont know this place just feels...nostalgic like ive been here before reading my book and drinking a cup of coffee." they spoke softly as i smiled and looked up at in the window. "maybe we were there, hundreds of years ago this place was a cafe playing the exact music live. just this time it feels like a long lost memory..." i said. they chuckled with a smile with a small nod. they went back to their reading while i watched the people walk by.
there's a coffee shop near my house, it's a mini greenhouse, plays this type of music, tasty drinks at a reasonable price. it's probably the best cafe I've ever been in
What is the name of this cafe?
not me back again at this absolute gem of a playlist w my all time fave songs (bcos of this channel)!! my bf calls me a time traveller cos we're both 17 and this is literally my fav era and genre !!

The comments warm my cold heart almost as much as the tunes.❤
God the first song is absolutely, heartbreakingly beautiful.

Another example of real music instead of garbage pretending to be music. Thank you for sharing.

I love this music. I'm in heaven.
I think this one is my favorite of all the PPVM albums. Other than the Fascinating Rhythm one. So good. I bought both of these in hard copy. :) Thank you.
Thank you for your lovely comment and support. So glad you are enjoying the albums!
A simpler, magnificent time
Every person I grew up with was introduced to this music through the television cartoons we all watched. I'm loving it.
Tom and Jerry.... 😃
Warner Brothers cartoons!❤️
Enjoying my morning coffee on a mild October day on my lanai in Southwest coast of Florida. Dreamy ☕
Staring at the 4am ceiling totally unable to sleep. This is helping me get through it
Dance one song with me after u sleep
This music is excellent when awake, next time when you have trouble sleeping, try binaural beats. I live for them.

That's me!
It Was!
.....as good as the rest, that is....
one day i will find people that would be excited to don 1920s vintage and have a tea party in the garden while listening to this music straight off a slate record. i need to live out my socialite dreams.
Very relaxing and chill… not expletives, no disrespect etc… makes you feel happy and joyful.
This is my dream of a 24/7/365 radio station! 💜💜💜
Beautiful compilation. Thank you.
Thankyou! Me and my niece are having a lovely tea party while listening to this lovely selection of music 😊
Who cares???
Sounds like Fun :)
What a fantastic idea. I plan to do the same this Saturday. Thanks for the inspiration.
You're having a tea party with your niece while spending your time writing messages on internet videos rather than paying attention to her. While listening to this old music you should adopt an old social standard, miss.
Typing a quick thank you is an old social standard. Judging people online... well I think that's newer.
I love your Vintage Tea Parties
Thank you.
Hello from Moscow.
When i listen to this i think of myself building the house of my dreams with the one i love 💕
Micah Leon Aww how sweet
Your vision makes me think of the movie “Up”
@@el7432 That's what I was thinking!
Such a beautiful thought. Believe in yourself
23 fell in love with music like this when I was 19 tho and man I’m still digging it and getting jiggy to it
coffee shop vibes
Quelle bonheur d'entendre cette merveilleuse musique !!💖 💖 💖 💖❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
This played in the house 30% of time since my dad was born 1917, Good memories.
Love
cant believe someone like me deserves this elegance
My father was born int the 50s but he had a ton of records from this time period. Ah, I miss him so much. He had such great taste in music.
I want to open a coffee shop bookstore and play this. And I'll have my books on the shelves, paperbacks of all my books on Amazon.
Listening to this whilst researching for my essay in the 24/7 library on campus. It's so lovely.
My wife and I love listening to this while playing gin rummy in the backyard 🙂
Idk if this is weird, but my productivity increased 200% with this playlist
What a fantastic mix! Makes me think of my grandmother, who passed away last year. She gave me a bunch of her records when she and my grandpa moved into a nursing home. I offered to copy them onto CDs for her but she said there was no need, she knew them all by heart. She also said that Irving Berlin's "Heat Wave" is "proof that your generation did not invent the stupid pop song." XD
A shame you didn't record them for yourself. But hang onto the vinyl discs, they can become valuable, depending on their rarity.
A wonderful memory, thank you for sharing it... sounds like your grandmother was a great gal :)
Anna Svagzdys Thanks for sharing your memory. Very sweet :)
Anna Svagzdys May your grandmother be at peace wherever she is. She seems like a wonderful lady.
MAKES ME NOSTALGIC FOR A TIME I WASN'T BORN IN.... ^^
I’m listening to this as I go on a walk on a beautiful winter day.
