Hey, don't feel like a chump for purchasing these games that weren't on sale. Since you've bought these games and played them, you've given us these videos on what is worth getting and what isn't. What other TH-camrs do you know that makes that kind of sacrifice? You've put a lot of effort, time and money in making these videos. Please keep up the work!
Yes, it has both a japanese and european versions. No US and they are both region locked. I only knew about the jp version and I usually dont mention those. Sorry about missing the PAL version. Thanks for watching Paul and Sacilvio!
There is a physical version of under defeat for the 360, at lest in Europe. And it’s cheaper than the digital one too. These are some great recommendations, thanks man!
Thanks crisiswarxx! Yeah, there are japanese and european versions of it. I was under the impression only a JP version existed and I usually don't mention those. Apologies, missed the european one.
Great News! The most recent sale from a couple days ago included a handful of these - now permanently marked down until the closure! "DeathSpank" (90% off at $1.49), "Burnout Crash" (90% off at $0.49), "The Fancy Pants Adventures" (90% off at $0.99), "Tornado Outbreak" (75% off at $4.99), and "Rush'N Attack" (75% off at $1.24). Also worth noting that most physical copies of Tornado Outbreak are getting really expensive in the last few months. But it does have a Wii copy that is not as bad. Still, can't beat $4.99 when the physical 360 version is $90+.
Honestly cant believe why they dont have a massive sale on these titles. I mean I get it, but now that literally the store will close, better to have some extra bucks than nothing. Id totally buy the games if they were around $1
Fatal Inertia on the PS3 is actually an update to the 360 version. It tried to address some of what was criticized, and apparently wasn’t enough. It baffles me about the rise in price because back then the game was so panned that it always went one step above the shovelware in the second hand market. There’s something that needs to be said about two games in particular regarding DLC: Hell Yeah! and Blade Kitten. As with Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Krome Studios planned this game to be an ambitious multi-episode game. The thing was that its initial reception was mixed, then Atari, the publisher, started to have problems with Krome and financially. After a while, Krome recovered the rights to the game and re-published it on Steam, but on the 360, it remained with Atari as publisher. They did publish episode 2 on Steam as a cheap DLC which actually has more bonus content than playable content as it acted more like a quick epilogue just to keep the initial promise and actually delivers the episode 2 as a digital comic more than a game. On the 360 you still get mostly a finished game, but keep in mind the only way to get the “episode 2“ is through Steam though it doesn’t add much as a game. Also keep in mind that the PC version can be cumbersome to map the controller. About Hell Yeah!, the 360 did get the DLC, but on Steam, you get it with the game, while on the 360, you still have to pay for it and, unlike Blade Kitten, this adds a lot. By the way, Rush ‘n Attack Arcade is available on physical.
As for Renegade OPs love that game but if it does go on sale you might want to pick up its DLCs if you like the game. And for sanctum the 360 version only got one of the expansions PC got the rest.
Thanks for mentioning about the Sanctum 2 DLC. I did some research on it and found PS3 got no DLC, Xbox 360 got 2/4 (Road To Elysion and Ruins of Brightholme) and Steam got 4/4 (Road To Elysion, Ruins of Brightholme, The Pursuit and The Last Stand). So I'll switch my intended purchase from PS3 to Steam.
Didn't know that Burnout Crash game existed. I used to love playing that mode in I think Burnout 2? but this version looks really fun too. Also I recently picked up a copy of Under Defeat with the soundtrack cd. Great game. I think it is worth noting that some games may be pulled from the store earlier than the actual shutdown so it may not be wise to wait to the end to purchase something you want.
I liked blade kitten on pc, it received huge update many years after initial release, was it like that on Xbox too? Cool game if u like strider style acrobatics
@FromTheVoidGames IMO, the reviews are well deserved. Daggerdale is probably the worst arcade RPG I've played on the Xbox 360. IF it's in one of the last sales/discounts I'd say get it then. Otherwise I wouldn't bother.
Now that I’ve got 245 Xbox 360 games downloaded, with most being the best XBLA games had to offer throughput the years, such as Renegade Ops,Shadow Complex,Radiant Silvergun,Ikaruga,Hard Corps: Uprising & all the many SEGA SATURN & Dreamcast ports released via XBLA, that’s my 500GB hard drive filled to the max, so thanks for a few recommendations for games that I hadn’t come across myself like ‘Mr Fancy Pants Adventures’ which is one of my favourite platform games for the 360 now. I’ve still got around 30+ physical retail games as well ,which is why I still spend as much time playing my 360 as I do on my Series X. 🕯️R.I.P XBLA🕯️
Thanks for the video! Will get Vigilante 8 and Rush'N Attack (also Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows but on PS2 & Renegade Ops, Hell Yeah! Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit, DeathSpank, Eternal Sonata, Fatal Inertia, Singularity, Tornado Outbreak and Rush'N Attack: Ex-Patriot but on PS3 & Space Invaders Extreme but on PS4 & Under Defeat but on PS5 & Sanctum 2 and Blade Kitten but on Steam)
So, can someone clarify something for me... Even if you buy the Xbox 360 games on the marketplace (before the store closes), that game wouldn't be compatible with Xbox Series S/X?
These look like cool games but too much money. 15 bucks for some of them. I wonder if some of these titles will get a discount on July 16th. If not it's a hard pass for me.
😂🤣Genious. For the 360 in particular I've been runnin across a whole lot of IGN low scores that I really disagree with. So I gotta agree with you there :D
Fatal inertia is one of the games that proves the US market is going apeshit crazy. Over here in Europe is't just another 10€ game, while Americans easily pay over 100$. For the price of the game over there, you buy an Xbox 360 with the game over here, and have money to spare.
Greeting Arthur there is actualy something to be said about sanctum 2 the makers went on to make goat simulator , yea they are a realy talentes team doing terrible games because they sell better for them! There is actualy a third desthspank called "the beconing" instead of desthspank PS: I know all the games ! This makes you think about how small and transparent the indie industry used to be, nowadays it's realy hard to keep Up , and this is what makes your work so great ! 😉
@@CrankyMoogle yeah I've been frustrated by that. It was on my wish list for a while, and hasn't been available for a while since it was delisted back in 2018 or so.
The Marketplace has been buggy for some years (yes, years), you have to be careful and check if they appear in your download list and your MS account purchase list. If you get an error like a game not appearing on your DL list but it’s on your purchase list and you were charged, you can ask MS for a refund, but you have to act fast! It only happened to me once but I could get the refund.
You by far are doing the best job when it comes to preparing for the xbox apocalypse 👽👍
Thank you so much Jonathen! This means a lot

Also just FYI Under Defeat does have a Japanese physical on Xbox 360, but it is region locked.
I thought it had an European release, didn’t it?
@@SacilvioSantos Yes. There's definitely a European physical version of Under Defeat HD

Renegade ops rules, be sure tu buy the expansion too
It totally does! I'll make sure to mention the DLC in the next video on DLCs!
You are a godsend for these online store closures. Love this content.

Eternal Sonata is such a good game, I highly recommend it to any fan of the genre
100%. Before playing it I felt like this would be just ok, but its actually excelent.
really helpful and fun to watch video, i have bought a few games recommended by you in the previous videos.

Sanctum 2 needs DLC to 100% completion, but that DLC is no longer available to purchase.
It's still available in the USA. I looked in the arcade A-Z section, and the game, along with the DLC, is still there.
