I watch many overseas nests in Poland, Amsterdam, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Hungry, Australia, Norway & England in addition to the USA. I started watching the Estonian white tailed eagles years ago - there were three eaglets and the nest collapsed before the chicks had branched or fledged. Somehow they all managed to survive - amazing and riveting action! I think after that nest collapsed the parents did not rebuild the nest in that tree. Do you recall?

Hello Socalfun the eaglets are still totally dependent on the parents for food. They will continue to be fed for a few more weeks until they disperse. At that point, they will be surviving on carrion (dead animals) or prey that they steal from other raptors until they learn how to hunt on their own. Fishing is a skill that takes longer to master but once they do, the statistics for their survival into adulthood goes up greatly!
Lady Hawk, PLEASE! AM I THE ONLY ONE WORRIED ABOUT DNF?! In every video I watch, she's shaking her head and using her talon to try to dislodge whatever is stuck in her mouth... Please let someone know!!! I'm very concerned about her well-being. 😢💔🙏🦅
Hello Paulette do you have a timestamp that I can review? Was it when she went to the grass with a fish for DN18 to get? Starting 07:44? If so there was nothing to be concerned about. She was shaking her head for the gnats and bugs! TC
@@ladyhawk I watch many videos. The best answer I can give is that I made two comments on two separate videos. That can at least help as to the days. If I recall, the first showed more than the second one that was at a distance. Mr North wasn't displaying the same behavior.
