- Mom Decorah is nothing short of amazing raising her triplets again this season. With the fish hatchery so close, she can literally fly off the nest, catch a fish and be back in a minute with fresh sushi for her family!
Mom flies in with the first fish and feeds her very well behaved and well fed eaglets. They all have full crops - a testament to the excellent parentage of Mom and DM2. When the fish is gone, she flies off the nest and returns with a second fish and serves that up. Look at how big the eaglets have gotten!! D34 & 35 are 26 days old and D36 is 23 days old today! Amazing!! As it was said in the decorah eagles mini documentary recently linked and recommended by you, the decorah eagles nest cam is the best reality show! (I of course like all the other nest cams too 😊) it’s just amazing seeing how great these eagles are as parents. Seeing this great feeding by decorah supermom and the defending of the nest from Harriet super-warrior-mom 😆 (or harriet warrior princess 🤣😊?) just makes me appreciate how lucky we are to watch this sort of stuff, as well as appreciate the amazing parenting instinct of our bird friends 😊🥰😍

Where is dad did something happen to him? She is an amazing mom just love her n watching how well behaved the babies are. Even the last set of eagles were so well behaved it's wonderful to see this.

This nest is right next to a fish hatchery but Mom still has to go get the fish. 🦅♥️🦅
Look at the crops on those babies! If Mom puts much more in them, they'll fall forward when they walk. ^-^

Nothing like having a well stocked pantry in the front yard because soon she will need a third fish to fill them up. Such a good mom.
Thank you to the fish hatchery for allowing them to get some fish for the babies I know that's not wat that's there for but thank you not chasing them away. ❤

She is such a pro, this reminds me of West Side Catalina last year with Thunder and -of so missed- Superman having their 3 eaglets lined up in a row at feeding time. Thank you Lady Hawk!
What fabulous *big* eaglets; the 3-day age difference shows, but mom tends to her youngest very well, there's no dominant behavior or submission among the 3 at this point which is so cool. Everybody knows there's plenty of food👏💖! Even with huge crops they will clearly keep eating til there's not a gnat's size of space available in those beautiful crop😁

Very nice said, i agree with every word. Watching the Decorah nest, where food is plenty next door and almost no blows to the younger ones, is balm for humans' nerves :)

There’s a man in Utah who helps eagles and has a rescue. Good channel to check out. He gets many eagles who are young and starving.
