OG remains the only team in DOTA, the only team in Esports, to win a 5 game series and a championship despite losing every game. I was there. There was never a second at any point in the finals the crowd felt they were winning. This play with the most obvious, but it wasn't the only time it looked like OG had just lost the game but then something no one really understood happened that kept them in it. People were leaving their seats because the game was over, only to have it go on another 20 minutes and OG turn it around. It was like watching a CS:GO match where every map started 15-0, but the final score was 17-19, 16-0, 16-0, 17-19, 17-19. Just unbelievable.
The TI8 run was something that will probably never happen again. Team that was pretty much deemed to be one of the teams who doesn't get to play on the main stage to going on to win it all... That play to me is the same as sacrificing the queen for a pawn lined up to recover the piece. I know there are chess masters that have practiced the maneuver, but holy hell, when you're in a game for the chance to claim history and multi million earnings, the rush of adrenaline must have felt like saving a school bus from an army of bullet trains. If you haven't seen a bullet train by the way, there's a nifty search bar waiting to show you.
It's the best TI run ever. Nothing compares yet. Not even that other team with 2 wins, too. They are my GOAT team in Dota as to T1(zofgk) is in League.

The original OG days will never be replicated ever…. Those guys were just different… It’s like they just turn up for a big bang annually and then disappear
What everyone doesn't realise is that LGD's downfall in game 4 started when Ame bought back even when his team was retreating and there was no fight to be had (see the situation at 13:23) Because of this buyback, He didn't have a buyback during the Cen call moment which led to LGD losing 2 sets of 'racks and eventually, the game.

ti8 actually what got me playing dota
I remembered screaming for the Ceb call. But the Ana sell item show was the coolest play ever. 😁
It went so far under the radar it was talked about later that TI and was on the Observer documentary made by Vavle
The way he make decisions in critical time that make him a different from another carry. his a legend and make TI8 is the best TI in Dota2 history in my opinion. they deserve to win! sorry for my bad English :)
If you haven't seen a bullet train by the way, there's a nifty search bar waiting to show you.
that ti8 and ti9 run by og is absolutely wonderful, those were the good times indeed
It's the best TI run ever. Nothing compares yet. Not even that other team with 2 wins, too.
They are my GOAT team in Dota as to T1(zofgk) is in League.
this upload reminded me of annual tradition to watch ti8 and ti9
after 6 years later this moment still a legendary
13:39 me every clash
teamfight*
@@daghetto101 its a filipino term bro
It's been 5-6 years since this team disbanded and I'm all for the Goat OG content
He also switched tread from agility to strenght when he saw tusk. And after all of that happened he tried to switch back to agilty for escape but he died
This video plays out like a Secret Base Rewinder video and I'm here for it!
It was the year for the east. Luckily ana is part eat 😂

The chills while watching this video. This play was so good.
that selling of item wasss ssooooo insaneeeeee!!! the next level IQ!!
OG winning this one is tie first for my favorite ESports moment. Can't choose between the Ceb scream and Tokidos "video games are great" speech after his first Evo.
That was such a good watch. Loved the setup.
I just want to see ana play one more time
I think for that particular play he became the dota legend
TI 8 OG story is what makes me believe that there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.
The original OG days will never be replicated ever…. Those guys were just different… It’s like they just turn up for a big bang annually and then disappear
this is truly "every second counts" moment
TI8 was so Michealangelo that even after 6 years , no matter what version of documentaries I watch , it still give me goosebumps
somehow everything alligned for OG Ceb has crazy talent for scouting players all his picks has been top rated players
What everyone doesn't realise is that LGD's downfall in game 4 started when Ame bought back even when his team was retreating and there was no fight to be had (see the situation at 13:23)
Because of this buyback, He didn't have a buyback during the Cen call moment which led to LGD losing 2 sets of 'racks and eventually, the game.
AFTER FKING OVER A YEAR WITHOUT ANY DOTA 2 VIDEO
FINALYY!!
time to watch true sight ti8 and against all odds again for this year 🍻
T i 18 is the pinnacle of Dota 2 esport tournament in history
Ana's the buyback play is so clutch like Emi Martinez's save during 2022 World Cup final
i just rewatched truesight18 last week and this vid wants me to rewatch it again..dang
This is the GOLDEN AGE of DOTA........ everything was Beautiful...... the MONALISA of DOTA ......
What I hate about this TI is that it was held in my city and it happened when I wasnt even a fan of dota yet
