It does ...after a fashion. I use a VKB Gunfighter in the righthand and a Thrustmaster T16000 Throttle in the left and various buttons on both without issue! :) I had to run through the keybindings but its never not worked from me since the current level of support was added a good few patches ago.
This game needs WAY more attention. In planning on picking this game up here this week, a few things I hope they add multi-crew aircraft, hypersonic weapons and aircraft, player controlled ground vehicles, anti sub aircraft and maybe a flying triangle stealth fighter? Forward swept wings
Great video covering the major additions to the game! I'm also looking forward to seeing what the developers cook up next, every update is a big leap forward.
By the price point this is an essential game for any flyer. Try hards of full fidelity make note, this is a really nice vacation from full sim while still letting you utilize some of what you know
Game needs to rework radar guided SAM. Those things are way overtuned, and they don’t seem to try and intercept your flight path but rather just fly straight at you with seemingly unlimited energy. Also customizable HUD clutter would be nice too! As a falcon BMS and DCS player this game is awesome as a middle ground sim. Flight game genre is looking strong future!
@@jbarry39 Absolutely not. The jammer works, you just need to use it in the « recess » of the radar targeting you (meaning you need to fly perpendicular to it, without going further away or closer to it).
@@Tivizzz no, they have a point. Even flying perpendicular, and diving to a lower altitude to drag it proves rather difficult. This is coming from a DCS player. A rework is needed.
@@juliomaldonado4028 I've had the opposite experience, where at any significant range I can avoid radar missiles fairly easily. It may be because I essentially never try to fly high, as I am a chronic terrain hugger.
This looks amazing, I miss fun semi simulation games, like old Microprose, although I know they are back. This seems like a perfect game to mod. I want Front Mission or Gungriffon Mechs.
hello, i'm wondering if the game is actually worth it, i'm planning to pick it up on steam but idk if I will be very good at the game, i come from war thunder simulator battles and I enjoy them pretty much, how is the controls with keyboard and mouse, and is it very hardcore? or i can enjoy it without spending 50h learning how to take off like dcs (love dcs i just don' t have the time and energy to be that good at a single plane tho)
@@markoliver8914 very good it’s the main way I play it I fly with mouse and do all weapons on keyboard it’s very easy with the controls on keyboard and mouse
This game seems like it was made by a DCS fan who couldn't get his friends to play a study sim. I say this as a 10-year, fairly hardcore DCS veteran who can't get his friends to play a study sim.
@@Viking355th I have a few DCS modules and just don't have the time or energy to commit to them. This almost seems like a modern version of Strike Fighters 2, which probably suits me better.
Nope it’s not comparable in this way. For example: I played carrier mod first time . I could ( buy) only a light fighter and attack plane ( cause I had low money and they are cheap) . I did 3 kills and died . Respawned and did it again . So I had enough money to get a lot of cheap aircraft or 1-2 expensive ( that new jet and an EW jet) . If there weren’t that money I must save for better aircraft I would just get that EW jet with its cruise missile and shoot it , die instantly , get it again and spam all the ships till victory.
Does it support HOTAS? I see it only as Xbox and PS controllers.

@@TheBuurPit Thanks Buur! I will be getting this with my July gaming funds. It looks good!
Yessir! And it also supports headtracking
SO worth the small price of admission ...I get sooooo excited when an update drops for it :)

One of the devs in the discord said they probably won’t add forward swept wings in a suggestion post..
@@CASA-dy4vs seems like a missed opportunity.
They also gave a hard no to playable vehicles. They plan on adding a vehicle transport and some new vehicles to go with it for 0.29 though
For less than 1/4 the cost of one DCS module, you're being a typical millennial-type gamer...expecting the world for nothing.
My Ifrit yells "Overspeed! Overspeed!" at me. You have to go high if you want to go fast.

Just gives and gives doesn't it :)
This game is looking so good now!
I love this game. Perfect balance of sim and fun.
Just brilliant, isn't it.
I haven't played much since before the Medusa was added but now you've got my attention again. I gotta try these new things out
Why Ifrit reminds me something between YF-23 and Felon? (Su-57)
that is what it's supposed to be

AGREE...the jammer is totally useless

What do you mean it only goes .99 the speed of sound? I can easily get it go to 1.17 at low-medium altitude
Let's go nukular!
1:29 sounds like current world events actually
This game reminds me of DropShip on PS2
The Ifrit in my opinion is just a SU-27 and F-22 combined.
How does this game handle with keyboard and mouse?

What’s this game on?
Why this, not DCS?
You don't have to spend your life savings and don't have to know how to start a fighter jet irl, it's much more accessible

This is just warthunder but more realistic and it has alpt morenukes😅
How dare you
I think it can be an entertaining game
BUT IT ISNT A SIMULATOR

buying planes with in-game currency, not real dollars
Does the game suffer from a toxic community?
No..?
