So, I'm a weird person who pauses to answer questions if asked. More than likely that kid knew a dude who did tatts on the side. Before becoming an Author, back in the 90's I used to do tattoos for gangbangers, and that was with a needle & thread just poking away. So, it's possible he could be a walking billboard getting them for half or free to bring others in to pay full price. Allright back to the video.

My mother was a nurse, and I helped her study while she was going for her certs. (Incidentally, getting your preteen to help you study for medical certifications leaves them with some very interesting aftereffects.) I am *pathological* about getting bodily fluids off me. Human bodies create a truly horrifying array of incredibly disgusting substances and blood is both the least disgusting and one of the most dangerous, so warm +wet + not mine = GET IT OFF.
It makes movies like this baffling, sometimes. People in them act like they've never heard of basic precautions. Rule#1: If any part of them is oozing and should not be, then perhaps you should wait until they've recovered before you get intimate with them. Boinking is not more important than avoiding infection.

good point... and a 2019 movie to boot? not saying anything, but very coincidental that a virus, which had the 2019 date stamped to the end of it's name, started in china and essentially took out.. Based of world of meter's current estimate of
7,952,672,500 (give or take 100 as it may be off in it's reporting) pop now
      and minus
6,326,583 deaths from a c-19 bug to get
7,946,345,917 (again give or take 100 for Worldofmeters possible errors)
that ends up being a percentage of
      = 0.0795529% decrease
Or rounded up.. it removed less than .08% of humanity.
BUt hey.. we can't be spitting facts of while that thing was bad, it wasn't as catastrophic as the media wanted us to believe... BUT now we're dealing with the cataclysm of a fucked world economy... with a European war going on to boot.

I also directed a cat and a pig in high school. We also had the option to go to a cadaver lab off campus in a hospital. It was pretty cool, learned a lot.

I'm impressed, it's hard enough to train a dog but a cat and pig together in a movie is awesome.
      What movies were they in?

I was figuring that it was a offshoot of those worms that infect crickets. You should know these Roanoke as these worms they drive the cricket's toward water and will exit the host through the abdomen.

Awesome video Roan. I think I heard of this movie. Freaking creepy though, the thought of worms of any sort living anywhere within me is just so utterly disgusting and kinda scary.🤢🤢😖
Wanna pitch a movie idea. Would really love to see the werewolves, vampires and/or Immortals of the Underworld movie franchise done. There's quite a bit of lore there and reasons for stuff and would definitely wanna hear your thoughts on the infection. The werewolves from Van Helsing alternatively would be sick though that movie is way more Supernatural territory. Anyway, hope you had a good day and thanks for another awesome and fascinating video.😁

I also dissected a cat back in my Human Anatomy & Physiology class and my team, all cat owners, made the mistake of giving our cat a name.

I don't know if you realize this but had you seen the scene were the host of the parasite showed a lot of strength like when the boy was thrown against a wall easily

Hey Roanoke in case you read this, what causes motion sickness in some people when they play First Person games and how to fix that?

    • @RoanokeGaming
      @RoanokeGaming  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

Your eyes are in conflict with your vestibular system, your eyes say you are moving, your ears say you are standing still. This conflict causes you to feel dizzy and nauseous! best way to get around is is motion sickness medicine or just not using VR unfortunately

I think it could be solved by using treadmill connected to VR reading the game input that way you could get around, if you're talking about VR.
However if you're talking about looking at screen without VR just change the FOV in your settings that should help.

    • @rafsandomierz5313

@@RoanokeGaming I think they don't talk about VR, there are cases where bad FOV of the game can make people experience motion sickness, that can be fixed by adjusting FOV settings.

Ah yes. A parasite that reduces fear and anxiety and boosts happiness around cats. I'm struggling to see a bad side to toxoplasmosis.

I always thought the title of the movie was a clever nod to the misinformation that is generally spread during pandemics, and the fact they were not actively keeping people within the loop and everyone getting bad information making the situation spread to what it became.

    3.08 - let's talk about viral bacterial parasites! :D
    33.41 - outtro
Something tells me Roanoke here likes microbiology, but between that and him having a degree (I know it's a high one, I just can't remember) in microbiology, I'm starting to think he likes the subject, but don't point fingers at me if I'm wrong >v>
