Mustafa has no need to apologize. His direct approach is one of the things that makes his contributions valuable and entertaining. Of the pies that were tasted here, pumpkin is my favorite. But it's fine that some did not like it because not everyone here likes pumpkin pie either. My favorite pie of all is pecan pie...but I think Mustafa wouldn't like that because it's very sweet and uses corn syrup. :)
The only problem I have with this channel is how much variation recipes have, so we never *really* know if they would like *our* version of any particular item. Many items come out very different looking than how *we* know them (in my case, the American Midwest), and this may be simply due to the likelihood that they are being prepared in Pakistan by people without much more familiarity with Western cooking than any of the featured personalities. For instance I've never seen a pie you can pick up by the crust that holds itself together. Flaky and fall-apart are the gold standard for pie crusts. I've never seen pies without 1-2 solid inches of filling - these came out looking a little more like what we would call 'tarts'. To your point, every key lime pie I've ever had was very tart, filled generously with yellow-greenish smooth custard, with a graham cracker crust, served with whipped cream.

I'm American and love a lot of North Indian/Pakistani food and sweets. But if you gave me camel feet and goat feet...I might not enjoy that much at all. It's good for those who enjoy them. By the way, key lime comes from islands off the coast of Florida and the pie has the juice and zest of the limes, which are tiny compared to regular lime. We make soup out of pumpkin too., and the pie usually has whipped cream on top. And apple pie...up here in Wisconsin we melt cheddar or muenster cheese on it, or have a scoop of vanilla ice cream or custard.
I would love to see them trying carnival food! Who else would love that? Caramel apples, cotton candy, corn dogs, elephant ears! Or baby shower foods: mints, sherbet punch, cucumber sandwiches, crudité platter, egg rolls, spring rolls.

Fun fact: Pie- the placing of edible items, either savory or sweet, inside a pastry shell, originated in ancient Egypt. It was adopted by the ancient Greeks, then eventually by the Romans. The Romans brought it to Europe. Eventually it became a very entrenched dish in Britain, reaching a massive popularity in the late 18th through 19th centuries. The Victorian era saw meat pies, usually game, grace just about every dinner table. When Europeans came to North America, pie became popular on that continent, most particularly fruit pies such as apple, cherry, peach, pumpkin, etc. and also other dessert pies like pecan, lemon meringue, Boston cream, banana cream, "shoo fly", coconut cream, etc. etc. Pie remains very popular all over Canada and the U.S. as well as Europe. In Canada, and also the States, pie is often served with vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream; apple pie is often served with a slice of cheddar cheese as apples and cheese are a great pairing. Meat pies are very popular, too, and tend to be served in individual sized pies of either beef or chicken or turkey. Sometimes called 'pot pies' referring to the small containers these meat pies are baked in. 🥧🥧🥧
America is big, with many people in different climates. Some parts of America never see snow and winter never stays there. Other parts have 4 seasons with snow in the winter. Other parts have 4 seasons but when it snows, the snow is as high as your belly and sometimes as high as the tallest house and the snow does not melt until the winter leaves. Other parts have 4 seasons and does not see much snow but the wind is so strong that it freezes all winter and partway through spring. There is only a very small part of America that is always cold. And not many people live there. I am sorry we send all of our old coats. I would send new coats if i could but i only get a new coat every 10 years. The coats that I send are my children's and grandchildren's who grew out of them before it was cold enough to wear them. I would not insult you by sending you an old coat that i won't wear.
Key Lime pie comes form my home state of Florida! It was made because in the old days in the Florida keys, fresh fruit was difficult to bring in, so the people who lived there made a custard pie with egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk and key lime juice! Also it meant you didn't have to heat your house up with an oven because the lime juice cooks the egg yolk!
Everyone: America is superpower.

Dont start with pumpkin! It’s a bit strange
Same I wanna try a pie now. I live in Saudi Arabia
@@ikhlasbayazid7412 there are far more pies in the US and Europe then these. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pies,_tarts_and_flans
Making many of them is not difficult once you learn how to make the pastry crust. That takes some practice. There are many different recipes on the internet, for all kinds of fruit, chocolate, whatever you want!
@@catt1003 there are pie kits so to speak. many different meat, fish, fruit, bean, nut, vegetable pies.
My favorite kind of pie is the Kentucky Bourbon Pecan pie my son makes. MMmmm! Now all I have to do for Yule and Thanksgiving are the apple and pumpkin pies. yay!
Mustafa is a very good man may Allah give him a long live
I can't get enough of the thumbnail 😍 it's soo cute
Have them prepare an American dish themselves, from a recipe or cooking video.
Something unfamiliar would be fun.
Plus, Mustafa will know what is in it.
These videos are so good. I congratulate all the people participating.
Mustafa is a Old G. LOL set in his ways. I think he's thoughtful, and honest and it's refreshing. This is their opinion, I'm pretty sure if we tried their food we would be the same way!
No, their food would be delicious, absolutely amazing.
I dont like pumpkin pie either. Hed probably enjoy it more drenched with whipped cream
Agreeed! I'm a little sad though that there are ppl in the comments who insult Mustafa and want to have him kicked off the channel. These trolls comment on every video trying to turn ppl's mind against Mustafa for some reason. I wonder why they don't leave him alone...
@@heidicharles-s4667 the guy is just honest and straightforward. And it's his opinion based on the perspective he has. Every1 entitled to their opinions.
@@heidicharles-s4667 I agree!
Mama Mustafa’s honest opinion is very pleasant to hear. He doesn’t sugar coat them. Kudos to mama Mustafa and Luv this channel and the entire people involved.
A good apple pie is the most delicious pie ever but they can be very hit-or-miss, especially if you use some of that canned filling.
And I love Mustafa’s honesty and how he always has something similar from his village, probably cooked on coals
its 32 degrees C, it feels like 37 C, the humidity is 81 percent and its 6:14 PM on the gulf coast in America, only 2 seasons in our region, weather is very diverse in the states
Yes all sounds to my taste
I would love to see them trying carnival food! Who else would love that? Caramel apples, cotton candy, corn dogs, elephant ears! Or baby shower foods: mints, sherbet punch, cucumber sandwiches, crudité platter, egg rolls, spring rolls.
In Mustafa's village they bake a giant cake once every year? Nice.
What is this "guan" that he recommends we eat with dates when it's cold?
Only 1% of Pakistanis speak his language. I guess the hosts also don't know what it is lol.
These people are so cute. Makes me want to visit their country.
Forget the pies, today I learnt about Yarang na largh, kharach, and busroo 💕💕💕 Thanks to Mama Mustafa and Lala Ismael, I really didn't know about these things even though I've this huge interest in our own specially kuchi tribal traditions.
Busro ya busri is a sweet paratha made with jaggery
@@thedesicooks8391 I would love to try it sometimes.
Aww my heart was melting when Mustafa said i apologise if i was harsh he was never harsh thou he was just very honest with his opinion
Mama Mustafa is making me think you should have them try varieties of applesauce! 😁
Just apples
Grandfather Mustafa, my favorite is pumpkin and my second is apple!

Absolutely love this videos! Please keep them coming ❤️❤️
Manzoor knows how to eat lol. The others barely have a bite.
Redo this one but with fresh pies! That's the best part! ❤ love from America thank you for your videos!
Pumpkin pie HAS to have whip cream. It's my favorite!!!!♡
Here in Florida the United States. We don't get winter at all it's HOT🔥 11 months a year and the 12th month is 2 weeks of spring and 2 weeks of fall
Fun fact:
Pie- the placing of edible items, either savory or sweet, inside a pastry shell, originated in ancient Egypt.

I really love you guys ❤️
Love from BANGLADESH 🇧🇩
I read that a certain type lime is used if a real key lime pie
Whatever is your opinion about food we can't get offended we enjoy your reactions, clothing, and humility.
A bit of sarcasm from Manzoor...
Oh I’m reading the comments before I can watch, and I can’t wait to hear the sarcasm!! ;).
The people in these videos are extremely kind and polite. It almost brings tears to my eyes. Why can't Americans be like this?
