You could try, asking as the buttercream was sticky enough for the SugarSheet to be applied it would work. But only problem as you will know with Buttercream is when it is soft and sticky it's easier to damage compared to fondant. But in theory , yes as long as you don't damage the covered cake in the process x
My cake was covered with fondant before the Sugar Sheet was added, it would be possible to add a sugarsheet to a cake covered in Buttercream however just be extremely carful as it will be more fragile
Hi reachel, your such creative. But if I may ask can I use a stencil with my sugar sheet technique on my cake? And if yes, how can I use it. Thx much luv.
I honestly dont think it would work just because you only have a short period of time to apply the sheet before it becomes brittle and breaks. Im sorry i cant be of anymore help I genuinely cant think of a way to do it BUT i would encourage you to try as this is how we discover new techniques like i did with the molds, i did not know it would work until i tried it first
Yes it will, treat it like you would fondant as its the same ingredients just using a different sugar. It will be more fragile as cream is a lot softer than buttercream or a fondant surface but it is doable
The same as fondant would it's litterally just sugar, so a natural preservative. The recipe is very similar to making your own fondant, it just uses a more grainy sugar to get the sparkle and no gelatin
A small amount of edible glue just treat it like you would fondant as its the same ingredients just using a different sugar. Be careful not to smudge the image

Very beautiful. Will it be necessary to add buttercream in between the cake and the sugar sheet to avoid the cake to move?
My cake was covered with fondant before the Sugar Sheet was added, it would be possible to add a sugarsheet to a cake covered in Buttercream however just be extremely carful as it will be more fragile

50c is 122 degrees fahrenheit, My oven won't go below 150F. I'm not sure if this will melt it, Any help would be helpful
If your not sure what heat to place your oven on simply leave it to set naturally
What is the temperature and time of the oven ?
I had it on the lowest setting at 50`c
