    Thanks for this I followed to open my JBL Charge 3 as it had rattling passive bass driver. I found out that the cords from the battery were touching the driver so it made this crazy annoying sound. I first thought that driver is leaking air but it was not. If you have similar problem just check this tip.

    I just removed the end by simply putting a guitar pick under each longer tab. No need to pry stuff under all four tabs trying hard to remove it... just put something small under the longer plastic tabs found on two sides to get it over the ridge, and twist the end off. It's actually designed to come off like this with zero damage.

    Hi how are things? I am trying to see how to somehow replace that dark and shiny sector that holds the central part of the membrane, which is like an area of metal or sheet metal. At certain frequencies they vibrate because they are loose and they lack that. I don't know if it's a ring made of some material, or just glue of some kind. That sound drives me crazy when it lights up like a bee passing near my ears. Bzzzz bzzzzz. If you have information on this, I hope you can help me. Thank you very much for your time.

    • @mygiguser
      @mygiguser  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They call that passive radiator. It is just a rubber membrane that is stiffened by a piece of plastic. If it is loose you can glue it back on, maybe with hot glue? Buzzing noise is often caused by loose wires behind that passive radiator. Especially those flat band cables make a sound like that.

    Though my Charge 3 is slightly different I was good except the part where you have to remove the passive radiator to get to the battery plug. It is one solid rubber ring that had one black screw but it won't budge. Tried prying a flat screwdriver under it, a paint can opener it's on super solid. Frustrating to get this far only to be stopped in my tracks. Any suggestions. It has the 6000/22.2Wh battery. Got the right one but hit the wall!! No screws to open outer cover just used the flat screwdriver and the paint can tip and it had brackets.

Again it worked 4-5 hours and same happened. I think the battery is good, after 10 hours working its on second light (from forth). I am not affiliated with any particular company, but out of my own experience with different vendors, i always had a good experience with Cameron Sino. You can search for it on the Amazon or Ebay.

    Check the connection on the motherboard where the battery connects. Mine was loose. I glued it. Problem solved.
