First of all, the device is really a great asset and the sound is superior to a device with an aux input. Now for your instructions, the model shown is not an E91 (station wagon) but an E90 (sedan), so the changer, if present, is installed differently. My vehicle did not have a CD changer installed, but a changer preparation. The installation instructions are very well done except for one point, but when installing the CIC it is never that easy, the wiring harness no longer fits behind the CIC with the adaptation of the Mr12Volt. As a small tip, the large plug cube can be deposited to the bottom right of the CIC cage, it's a bit tricky, but it works. The Mr12Volt fits very well between the CIC and the glove compartment, please wrap it in some foam to prevent it from rattling. I would also remove the glove compartment during installation, which also makes it much easier. Thanks Mr12Volt for the great device, it really is a mega upgrade for a BMW E9x model.
i pulled out my radio today to check if i have the MOST wires. i have the CIC Mid, no CD Charger, but still have MOST. so far so good. there‘s also a lot of space unter the CIC Mid unit for the box. but can i still use my USB port to play music if i wanted to or does this box replace every other possibility to play music? if for example my phone dies or something…
Bonjour Je viens d’installer un kit AliExpress semblable à celui ci avec une connexion obligatoire à la prise jack 3.5 sur mon Z4 e89 . Quelle est la différence avec celui ci ?
I'd love to see you guys make a CIC MOST interface but in a 10.25" screen for BMW's, because all of the screen upgrades on the market use the AUX for audio which has poor sound. 🙏
@@Didier2014 Hi! Can you tell me about your problem? I also encountered the problem, but I can't get a solution in the technical support chat from the manufacturer...
I have a question about the OEM microphone connection on the M3 convertible? The mic is in the steering column, do you have instructions for this connection? Thanks😊👍🏾
I just did the install on a 335i convertible and had to figure it out. You can just pop the upper steering column cover, then remove the lower one. Then you should see the connector where to connect the mic splitter. The cable can then easily be threaded behind the cic unit. I have an image with the splitter cable connected if you need it. (I know this is 2 months old, but I really wanted to find this specific info, so I'm replying now :D)
@@elias-vids I'm considering buying this for my convertible - would really appreciate any insight/guidance you can provide for how to do the microphone install!
@@elias-vids thanks. How do you like the Mr12 Volt. I haven’t gotten one yet, but I am going to make the purchase soon, unless there’s a better “CarPlay”option? Thanks again.
@itakallen So far I really like it. Has worked flawlessly. Audio quality is great, mic quality has so far been good and it connects really fast. Have nothing to complain. Fitting the quadlook behind the headunit was a challenge though.
@gsimon610 I replied already once with a link to a forum but that was removed. You'll probably find it by googling it though. There I have posted some images.
After connecting mr12Volt to my BMW X5 E70, the display CIC no longer turns on when the key is inserted into the car or the engine is started. It turns on and off only by pressing the volume button. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Is there in future a new version for Audi MMI 3G also with OEM Mic Support?
Great upgrade - we also install the same over here in the UK!
Enjoy the quality of audio!
Is there any type of retrofit for us with out idrive but with logic7? Something like the CarPlay device that's sold with a screen?
So the new model also doesn’t need separate wiring for the iDrive controller?
it all connected to the Quadlock now as shown in video. no more idrive controller
How to do if we have no CD changer preparation on my Z4 e89 ? Also I figured out that I have no oem mic
you will then need to do coding on cd/mp3 ( it can be found widely on web, you can install an after market mic to mr12volt
why do i have to remove my cd changer? what if i don’t want to
Mr12volt emulates the cd changer. It must be disabled if you have one

Is this installation guide for Model No: P2000-CICMM? Any difference in installation between this model and the previous model?
The CICMM connects power to the quadlock in the back for H.U. , and split cable of OEM mic in front roof lamp

Will this kit work on a 2008 BMW M3?
2008 comes with a CCC radio, you need to search for bmw ccc in www.mr12volt.com

Can audio app i used would work on this while using its GPS through carplay or AA correct?
Yes it is

It works on all E90 regardless of its variant
Will this work with a 2011 e93 M3 convertible?

Does the NBT version also have OEM mic support from now on?
