I like the blue grips, dang that thing is pretty.
My thoughts too Chris - thanks man
Thanks for the review. I have four Bersas. If I ever decide to get an American-made 1911, this will be what I'm looking for.
Great to hear man
Wow Bersa has been so much under rated as it has been ignored but there is a few of us that have known them for years. The quality has and still is been a paramount of the Bersa label. And these 1911s are shining examples!
Perfectly said Wayne
I like that it isn't tricked-out like so many pistols of today.
No light rail 👍🏻
Thanks Rob
@@melissasmess2773 tactical version will be coming soon.
Bersa Heavy Thunder 😎
No doubt Rhinestone
Super cool humble brag. "I don't know how much it is, but they sent me one to show" 😂❤
One mag, ouch. But I bet they're counting on you having 30 other 1911 mags at home already if you buy this.
Most likely true. I have more 1911 mags than any others
It’s your patriotic duty to have at least ten, preferably more, 1911 mags 😉
Kimber also only gives you one
One mag what's the big deal who cares
Because the case has slots for two magazines. I'd rather get two magazines vs the added cost of a "pelican" type case that most won't use anyway.
Thats a beauty
Thanks brother man
Interesting firearm. I’ve never been a Bersa fan but this could be an option at the right price. The Tisa Raider sets the budget 1911 bar pretty high with the new model having no molded injection parts.
@electricgamez5415 Bersa is not a low end budget gun company so don't be thinking they are although some of their guns might be lower priced. Beretta engineered guns from former Beretta engineers. Their prices are in line with Smith prices most of the time and their guns are made to that same middle end quality. Not high end but middle end.
Thanks man
Beautiful 1911
Thanks Expatxile
Sweet piece Sir
Thanks GTO
Nice 1911
Much appreciated Jet
I'm not a huge Bersa fan, but I might have to check their 1911 out.
Depends on the price
Thanks Mutar
@@waterhead1359 about $1000, and I am sure Dan can attest that they are probably worth much more than that when compared to the competition.
@@rafaeldelvalle1425 thanks

TISA SS 1911 very similar...
Around $500
What an early find on a new release. Top notch/video. Appreciate it !
I appreciate that Clay
Thanks, Dan. That gun looks like a work of art, beautiful.
Much appreciated Andy
Very nice Dan thank you for sharing that beauty
Much appreciated Les
Beautiful firearm
Thanks MarineBiker
Excellent presentation as usual 👏 👍😎
I appreciate that Peter
That’s a nice looking 1911. Great video as always!
Much appreciated Marco
nice review thanks for video. also the case looks very similar to the case club 1911.
Thanks Ram
Good looking 1911
Thanks Jim
Great review.
Thanks Blake
The front chekering and the sights are top noch , looks great !!!
Good stuff AMT
One good looking pistole!
Much appreciated Ratagris
Wow,
Bersa makes a 1911 and is a good firearm, thanks to you updating me. I am impressed for sure.
God bless
As always, Dan, thank you for your efforts to keep us up to date.
Looks like a lot of useful features in a 1911, without ruining it with nonsense! And great to see it is USA made.
Hopefully, at a competitive price.
Solid points Gary - thanks
they will retail for about $1000. Just sent the first ones out to distributors and dealers this week.
@@rafaeldelvalle1425 Not bad for a US made 1911 with plenty of features. Should be competitive.
That a beautiful piece
Thanks Charles
Wow, didn’t see this coming. Will have to check it out.
Thanks for checking it out Bob
Oh man that's sweet! Thank you
Thanks Jeff
Thanks for sharing. It looks sweet!
Thanks, Midwest
That is - ooo, I want one - nice. Thanks for sharing this nice 1911 with us.
Thanks for checking it out Daily
Looks like I need to get a Bersa added to the Drop It Arsenal! Great Video brother!
Thanks Scott. Stay cool down there
Very nice!!
Thanks Todd
I love the looks of this pistol. A beautiful gun, and a good deal to boot.
OOOO, I like this Bersa 45. It's stainless, and tough looking (and 416 steel, very nice). Too bad it comes only with one mag. (With the demise of CZ-Colt, I'm beginning to think more about American made Bersa.) Great review thanks for posting. Keep'm coming.
I appreciate it Mark - thanks man
👍👍 that’s a really nice looking 1911 . It looks well built too. Thanks Dan, I hope all is going well for you.
Thanks Lance. Back atcha brother
Hey there Dan I just noticed another article you wrote for "The Armory" Summer 2024 issue going over the shield red dot. Just thought that was cool to see again. Have a good week! 😎👊
Thanks Jknew. Just saw the article myself
I gonna have to get one of those.
Very cool Justin
Looks perfect
Thanks Snake
Nice.
Thanks B C
Good looking piece
Thanks William
Nice piece
Thanks Dan
I may have to add this one to my collection. Looks awesome, seemed to shoot like it too!
Thanks Josey. I did shoot it well straight out of the case
And let me just add that this is a great review on this Bersa 1911 Love it 🇺🇸👍
Thanks so much Wayne
I HAVE to get a couple of them.!
Thanks Steve
Fantastic! Is it on par with the Bul Armoury? Well done. Thank you Sir.
I need more time with it but so far its pretty great
That’s a nice looking pistol. And, I think it’s smart about the magazines. I always use Wilson or Chip McCorrmick mags anyway. The extra mags would just add to the expense of acquiring the pistol. Thanks for the video
Good point IronMike
Sweet
Thanks Matt
Nice video Dan. Kind of looks like the Colt Government Competition. Thanks for posting.
Much appreciated Paul
Very Nice '' Another Great Video '' Thanks for Sharing '' 💯 Wish we could have our Handguns back here in the UK. 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Much appreciated TMF
Wow! BERSA Let me T&E this or the Two Tone! Checkered front and Night Sight yes. I've done some DA/SA Full Sized vids with TPR9 I barrowed held it's own with 2 more expensive big name pistols. I'd like to check out TPR9c and Bersa Plus 380 too! Hey you sound like that new Fin Fur guy 😅
Too funny Dan. Yeah I have a little side job with FFF
@DanTheWolfman Give them time and there will be a 10mm version. I have the TPR9C and you will not be disappointed. Sweet smooth clean breaking trigger in both DA and SA. Reliable and accurate. Safety/decocker. SIG compatible sights. Snag free controls. Easiest take down field strip there is. Its my favorite sub compact. The TPR9C is one of the most if not the most underrated pistol on the market.
@@TheFirearmGuy congrats. I hope I can keep working with more companies like you do.
@rbm6184 both front and rears are like sign226 228 sights or p320 or what??? TPR9 full size same?
@@DanTheWolfman All I know is that Bersa says they are SIG compatible. I have the standard three dot plastic factory sights on mine.
The two tone looks beautiful
Thanks Terrance
Nice...
Thanks man
Bersa makes a great gun in the Thunder 380. Hopefully this one is a keeper too.
Good stuff JJ
That's a nice looking gun. It'll be interesting to see where the MSRP lands. Even if it's a good deal for a 1911, it's going to be expensive for a Bersa, and moving upmarket is always tough. They have to know they don't have the cachet to take on Colt, so I assume they will target Kimber. Kimber is an established player in the 1911 game. In the US, Bersa is known primarily for the $300 "PPK we have at home".
True thoughts Chris. Bersa has stepped up big time with the BAR series and now 1911's
@chrissmalley83 The biggest thing that hurts Bersa is their marketing, not their products. Their prices are usually in the Smith price range.
you will see them in the stores for about $1000. The objective at Bersa USA is to uplift the brand and disrupt the misconception that Bersas are "cheap" guns. They are not at all, but people think that because the Argentinian products are affordable, they must not be good.
@@rafaeldelvalle1425 I like the affordable prices but I know they are not cheap in materials or workmanship. I have never called Bersa guns cheap or budget because they are not. The affordable prices are not budget or cheap prices and fall more in line with Smith prices.
I'd like all metal firearms, especially the bursa thunder .380, this is awesomeness.
Agreed Melissa
Very nice Dan, been seriously considering a 1911 just to have one. They arent making one in 10mm by chance are they? Would scratch both itches with one hit. Regardless definitely impressed, and i like the fact they didnt plaster their name all over the side as well, tasteful.
I am not sure about Bersa making a 10mm 1911. Heres to hoping
Msrp?
@@donkirkwhite should see them for about $1000 in the gun stores.
Excellent. Glad to hear they're in the US. Looking forward to their new innovations instead of having to comply with import laws.
I agree bud
My crystal ball says Dan will be adopting a B1911 asap..I have a Bersa Thunder .380. It was my EDC for a long time and sometimes still is. Great review, can't wait for the prices to come out.
should see them in the stores for about $1000
Thanks Erol
Dan you know I have never been a Bersa fan like you but this is a game changer or sure seems to be! And Dan it appears to be made within 25 miles from me! So, if it is priced within my budget and having watched you shoot it(well done Dan) I must have one!
I love it Buz. Great to see your comments
They will be at around $1000 at the gun shops.
looks good
Thanks Cam
Niiiiiice. Waiting the BPs too. Any news?
Not yet but hopefully soon
should be this Fall on the new BP's.
Yo Danno, like most of the colors. Great lookers.
Thanks Murat
Looks beautiful! I’ve heard a lot of positive things about Bersa, I’ll have to check those out. Savage came out with a line of full size 1911’s but I haven’t heard much about them. They seem to be priced a bit high, given the competition from Springfield & others at that $1,000 range, but I’m still curious. Have you had any experience with those? I picked up a Savage Stance over a year ago & really enjoy shooting that. It’s an underrated pistol in my opinion. Priced right.
Great video, as always! 👍
No I haven't. They made a big hit when launched but you are right, very expensive
Nice. I like the USGI guide rod just fine. Don't need an extended one. Never had an extended on my 1911s and really don't care for them. Feed ramp on the frame is different from the standard 1911 on the barrel. I like mil spec USGI 1911s, not all the bells and whistles they have today but its nice for folks that want the looks and do want all that. I like to shoot my guns, not look at them, although the looks are nice also. Its just that I don't buy guns to be works of art, wall hangers, or safe queens. I shoot them and that is why I buy them. I guess that is why I don't care as much about looks as function. Function over form. I am sure its a great 1911. Nice tight fit on the frame rails, hopefully on the barrel also. Bersa builds their guns like tanks for durability, reliability, and accuracy and they have greatly expanded their product lines with a lot of good options for today's market. My TPR9C is my favorite sub compact and really underrated. Thanks, Dan.
I love the comment RBM. Function over form, I agree bro
Very nice. If the price is good I may buy one.
Thanks bro
Pretty cool 👍 😎 👌
I like it ...
Thanks Rich
Seeing these for sale in the $1K range, depending on finish, this one specifically for $973. I wonder if they use any MIM parts.
Nice dan! Didn't know bersa made 1911!
They are new to the market and many people are unaware of them
WOW! What a gorgeous 1911. Very very beautiful color combo! Very well thought of design! Luv it!!! ❤
I want one!!! When do you think it’ll be available in Philippines??
That's a good question. Not sure but glad you like it
If our distributor in the Philippines buys them, they will be available there.
it's not listed on their website ... but I'm diggin' it ...
I expect it to be there soon
new website should be up in the next few weeks. Hopefully, next few days.
Nice 1911, have 2 Bersa Thunder .22 & 380. Hope move is complete and was event free. Thanks Dan
Thanks Randy. Plan on moving in a couple weeks
@@TheFirearmGuy wish an easy time and a fantastic result. I was a bit ahead .
I want one!
I hear ya Sam
Only thing i dont like about my bersa tpr9c, is that its impossible for me to find a kydex holster for it and my light combo, which is a streamlight tlr7x
When's the bp9 full size being released?
Im surprised too to see a 1911 by Beraa..I only see the Thumder...
Wow, I like it
Thanks Arthur
I've been keeping my eye out for other bersa firearms like the 380. Because they are a great price. The 1911 is sharp looking but will see what the price will be.
price will be about $1000 depending on the dealer.
Rafael said it best Big Doug
Hopefully they will become available also in their mother country Argentina.
I thought that was a colt at first
Definitely has the Colt look
That is a good looking firearm.
Thanks Dragon
Looks to be extremely nice. If the price is right I would expect them to sell quite well. Definitely got my attention.
Thanks Jeffery
they will be around $1000 at retail.
I'm not a 1911 fan, but i like the look of that Bersa.
Thanks Buncha
😀very sweet😊
Thanks GaDawg
A Bersa 1911?! Now you have my attention. 😮
Yes sir Michael
I wonder if that uses metal injected molded parts like the Ruger?
416 steel, high grade material. Not sure if anything else is MI
that is awesome it is made in the USA!
Agreed Joshua
I’ve seen one made in Kennesaw and this one made in Cartersville, Ga. I’m curious where they are being made?
Bersa moved to Cartersville
New 1911's and manufacturers still insist on not adding a pic rail and optic cut. It would still be a 1911. Just one made for the 21st century.
Thanks anon
SIG does
All the add ons increase the price.
@@ratagris21 Exactly.
we are making a Tactical version that will have a rail and be optics ready. we wanted to start with a "classic" 1911.
my bersa thunder 380acp decocker sheared off at the shooting range. soft metal is a known bersa thunder problem per internet. i would never touch a bersa again.
Hello! Thank you very much for the video!
At what price is this model available in the USA? Is it made in the USA or in another country?
Greetings from Argentina
It will come in around 1K US
@@TheFirearmGuy Thanks!
👍
The savage looks awfully good too
Thanks triggerman
Bersa? 1911?? Who'd ever have thought? Black, Cerakote FDE, Two-tone, Polished, 5" and even a 6" model. But so far, it appears they are only in .45ACP. Not that there is anything wrong with .45ACP. THAT'S something I need to get my hands on. Thanks for giving me one more thing to add to my growing list of "gotta try" firearms.
You got it Rider
👍🏻

hermosa...
Comes in a better case than a smith and wesson performance center pistol.
Yes sir mayor
Hey Dan, either you haven't been putting out many videos lately or TH-cam is messing with me again.
I've cranked out three new release handguns this week. Yep YT is messing again
I really like them Bersa 1911.
