after 400 miles on the scooter i think my tire got a small leak...pinch flat...i pump tire and after few hrs or over 24 hr its starts loosing air...one day could remember rode on this really bad road and very bumpy... should of known to immediately take a different route... now i dont even know how to replace the tire or take it off if it's any complicated like the motor or brakes are attached onto the wheel/tire??... i have bike glue was thinking about patching the hole for the tube...i also remember doing a few tire burns cause when riding idiots like people just walks right out onto bike lane without looking and while on their phone so forced me to apply brakes hard and made tire burning sound not sure if that will contribute to my inner tube going flat???
i find getting down low and forward or even when leaning down low but backward may help if using gear 3 and turbo with dual mode combo on??? what do you guys think??? i'm probably too light to use gear 3 lol... i should stick to gear 2 and 1...
I have 57.8 miles on the scooter after two days since i started riding this scooter last night. and it has 3 bars right now and showing 58.3v and i noticed the same gear that i had earlier in the day when i started with the voltage at 63.5v the scooter was moving at a faster speed maybe 1-2mph faster than it is right now than when the battery had dropped 2 bar. if it loses another 3.0 volts its speed probably will go down some more if this is the way the scooter is setup to run??? Also, today i was riding with a backpack that is 5-6 lbs heavy so that had like a 1-2mph effect on the max speed i was able to hit on this scooter today than yesterday.
Any electric scooter will lose speed as the battery drops on voltage. Voltage drives how fast the dc motor spins. More voltage = higher speed. I ride to work on my other scoot. 12 miles each day. After I’m home I still have 62v but I charge it up again for the next day. I like being able to have the full speed available.
@@Desert-Ecruising it's funny how I already notice when u hold down throttle for long time until it reaches a certain speed then let go until scooter slows down a few mph then hold it down again u can get it to reach the max speed it originally was at when it had more voltage but then it wouldn't be able to maintain that speed for too long...
With 58.3v left and I plan to charge it after it goes down maybe 5 more volts you think I can get another 25-30 miles out of the remaining 5 volts that I have left before I want to start charging it again???
@@Desert-Ecruising that's funny my drive to work is the same , 12 miles one way. I just got my scooter today and Tuesday will be its first time there can't wait. Wait what the. ,,,,,, I can't wait to drive to work 😬🤒🥶
Hope you can give me ur opinion, i just got mine this afternoon, 1st time to charge why does the 2 chargers already turns green light even its only 66.8V, i know u said full charge is at 67.2V
Sounds like the chargers are cutting off a bit early. Could be the voltage monitor is off a bit too. I wouldn’t worry about it, it’s less than half a volt difference. If you wanted to know for sure, you would need a dc voltmeter and measure the battery directly. Could also measure the voltage output of the chargers to see if they are 67.2v.
Yeah, it’s not a big deal. Less than 1/2 volt. It could be the voltage monitor is off, could be the charger only charging to 66.8v, could be the battery. You’d need a voltmeter to find out but again, it’s nothing to worry about. Try running the power down a bit then just use one charger and see what the voltage is when it turns green. Then do the same with the other charger. Maybe one charges higher than the other.
hey...would you recommend waiting a certain amount of time once the battery is fully charged before using/riding the scooter or it only applies to charging the battery like you said its best to wait at least an hr and let the battery cool down before charging???
this scooter torque is crazy...had turbo and dual mode turned on and changed motor output to use 50% from 25% and gear 3 didnt expect it take off so fast...i felt like my front wheel was in the air for a quick sec...luckily i was able hit brake fast enough and scooter immediately stopped and i heard big tire burn sound lmfao SMH....i even slowly press down on the throttle even a slight tap or press but if u hold it down too long from the start it can easily send u off the scooter or drag u along while your other foot in still up in the air dangling and not completely on the scooter board...and especially if the front two nuts near suspension is loose... or where you fold up your scooter that part i feel like for my scooter if i rock the handlebar hard enough there is a slight movement of it up and down... so i guess something is loose...???
Hello my friend. So I got that fantastic deal on the TI30. I'm just waiting patiently. Anyway, quick question. I've been seeing these issues online of people complaining about the TI30 having issues when they run the voltage below 51 volts. After they do that they can't seem to get the scoot to charge. Any advice on what not to do as far as voltage is concerned. I don't understand a whole lot about these batteries or electronics for that matter but I do know these batteries can be sensitive if you abuse them and don't take care of them. I appreciate any information you can give. Thanks again.
That’s true for any LIPO pack in any scoot. Has nothing to do with the scoot brand. It’s the user’s fault for running the battery below the limit. Watch my video on battery care: th-cam.com/video/9j4RCdTFQ5Y/w-d-xo.html
Just realized you commented under the video where I go over the battery care. Follow what I say in the video to take the best care of your battery. I don’t understand people feeling the need to run their battery so low. I am rarely below 60v before I recharge. I want max speed and even at 50% battery, you lose about 3mph.
@@Desert-Ecruising I really appreciate how you respond and interact taking the time to help people out. As you said, I believe the majority of problems people are having is due to abuse and operator error. I watched your video on battery care a second time and I'll follow the instructions to the letter. One thing I'm confused about is you said these batteries are lipo? That's what I mean about being ignorant of these things. I kept calling the battery a lithium ion. Anyway, not to take up too much of your time, to be safe, I should never run the battery to below 54 volts? That seems to give a cushion just to be safe. Thanks again for all the info and help. It'll save me a lot of time, money and headaches.
Lithium ion and lithium polymer (LIPO) are basically the same just made from different materials. I didn’t realize it was lithium ion, it doesn’t say that on the battery. My other scoots are LIPO so I assumed this was too. Regardless, if you stick to what I show in the video, you’ll be good. 54v is plenty safe. Also, disregard the displayed voltage while riding. Check voltage when not moving.
so far i have it charging and the charger has a fan running. how can i tell if the scooter is done charging??? i see a red light on the charger??? how long does it usually take when charging the scooter with both charger??? that will depend on battery it has left too but if the battery is fully dead or if we are going to use it for the first time how long should we charge it for???
did you laotie come with some juice on the battery if yes. did you end up charging it and for how long? does it tell you what it recommends like how many hours should we charge the battery before disconnecting the charger? is there a way to tell if the battery is fully charged? how many hours it take to fully charge the scooter with two chargers and also when using just a single charger???
Don’t know what you mean by “juice” so I’d say no, I didn’t have juice on my battery. Charge the battery fully before use. Watch this video: th-cam.com/video/ecGrJodNA58/w-d-xo.html
@@Desert-Ecruising like when you use the remote key to turn on the scooter were you able to see if the scooter still had battery remaining or it was on low battery so i will have to charge it??? can i turn on the scooter while it is charging to check the battery or that is not recommended and i should unplug the scooter before turning it on if i want to check the battery???
how long after the ride should we wait before charging the battery? i was reading somewhere that we should wait till the battery cools down before charging if you are planning to charge it after the ride???
@@Desert-Ecruising I just noticed my motor stopped running after my battery reach 52v or 52.1v and i had it running on eco too when it was around 53v. fell short of making it home had to walk it half a mile maybe if i had just kept it on regular single motor and turbo mode i may have made it home... two days ago it took about 23 miles to drain about 2.75v and today it took only about 4 miles to drain like 1.5. i knew i should of drained it two days ago a little more and then charge it that same night instead i waited till yesterday and then i ended up not riding because of the rain so the battery was sitting there and it was below 62 the storage minimum u talked about. today when i went out riding battery just went out fast. it could also be the heat. the other day was hot but overcast since the sun had gone down but today i rode with sun out and hitting right onto me. goal was hoping to hit 100 miles but i fell short of it got 96.9 miles if you include the half of mile walk home with scooter. if i ridden the same night who knows i may had hit it easily and pass it maybe closer to 110 miles range. i also think i messed up using the higher gears today by constantly changing gears thats why it didnt last the way it suppose to be.
@@MissHitAllTheTimeI told you not to run it that low. Hopefully you can charge it up. The outdoor temp is not going to affect the battery. It gets warmer on its own inside the chassis with the controllers giving off heat. The outside temp doesn’t affect it but try to park in the shade if you can. Where are you riding that you need to be able to go 100 miles without charging? I’ve never ridden more than 40miles at one time.
@@Desert-Ecruising I just let it rest for an HR and just started charging it now with both chargers. I was just running the scooter on single motor and turbo mode and it just happened to last that many mileage for me while keeping it at 25% power for the motor next test I'll change the motor to use 50% power and run it on single motor and turbo and will see how long it last...so that means the scooter is built to shut off the motor once it hits or near 52v??? Which is about 20% battery left according to the 60v voltage chart??? Yea, I should just charged it when it was around 54v was low enough and running low on battery.
@@MissHitAllTheTimethe worst thing you can do to a lithium battery is run it too low. You can charge it anytime without degrading it. Just doesn’t make sense to me why anyone would wait until the battery gets near the low limit to charge it. 1) it will take a lot longer to charge. 2) risk going to low and degrading the pack 3) You have less power, torque, speed when the battery is low. No benefit to doing that whatsoever.
i also heard that turning on eco or using it may mess up the motor or have an effect on the motor maybe long run??? and that we should just stick to using single or dual mode instead??? anyone knows this true or not???
hey guys today while riding...i noticed a weird sound. Not sure if it’s always been there but i get the usual whining sound from the motor but also a slight high pitch sounds like a whistling sound when throttling. Is that normal ?
Don’t really know. I never set it to anything under 100%. I can control my speed with the throttle. Not interested in limiting the top speed by a setting.
@@Desert-Ecruising what about gear 1, 2, 3 at 100% power when using eco mode, single motor and dual motor? What are the speed ranges? Which gear the scooter goes faster? Gear 1 or gear 3?
Of course gear 3 is fastest. I only use gear 3 and single/dual motor. Again, I control my own speed using the throttle. I don’t need the settings or gears to limit my speed.
I was wondering all your questions as well! I’ve noticed when I put mine at 100% then switched back to 25% (nothing else changed that I remember) it felt slower not like how I first took it out of the box…weird and this is in 1st gear. Eco mode crawls it goes like 3 mph…could slightly be exaggerating that but still slow. Dual motor is too punchy ..feels like it’s going to do a wheelie…scary stuff lol
@@Desert-Ecruising for starting off and getting used to the scooter which would you recommend? leave the power at 25% and use gear 1, 2, or 3? or stick to gear 2 or 3? and then adjust the power as you get comfortable? even, though i know you said you control your own speed using throttle.
can we reused the valve we took out that came with the e scooter or should we use the one they provided when i brought the flatout which came with a valve???

just unboxed my scooter but i'm having trouble tightening the bolts for the handle bar stems the tool that came with the scooter is a bit defective cause its not like the exact shape and i hope the bolt is the right one they put/came with the handlebar stem...would you recommend charging the scooter if it has some juice on the battery left and if yes before first time using it how long should i charge it for? just dont want to overcharge the battery since it already have juice i'm sure most stuff that comes in with battery have some juice left on it. the turn signal looks so cheap and not metal someone can get mad and kick ur back of scooter and those turn signal lights can easily go bye bye...
Could just be some oil. Wipe it off and keep an eye on it. If the battery charged and is normal, then the juice isn’t from the battery. Connect both charges they should show red LEDs. When they turn green, disconnect them and check voltage in display by turning on display and then hit the power button 3 times to see the voltage. 67.2vol is fully charged.
nvm i was able to finally get the bolts to tighten it was dark and i had to literally get the tool exactly the way and just right before the bolts can screw it tight.
@@Desert-Ecruising i double check all of them with the tools that fit each one same with all the bolts on my scooters. the handle bar may still need some adjustment in angle once i get a chance to ride it.
can u explain the nominal 60v? i thought every li-on battery pack has like a limit amount of charge before it gets weaker like 1500 to 2000 charges every time you plug it in a charger...
if i have not plan on using my scooter for at least 2-3 or 2-4 days or a week, what do you recommend that we charge the scooter to? Right now, I plan on bringing my battery down to close to like 52v before I plan to charge it up and you said charging it full is not good if your not riding it for more than a day???
62v is the ideal storage voltage. I wouldn’t run it down to 52v unless I had to to get home. You’re pushing the lower limit. Not sure why you would want to do that.
Doesn’t work like that. If you use 50% of the charge, then recharge fully, that only counts s a half of a charge cycle. If you use 25% and then charge fully, it only counts as 1/4 charge cycle.
hey does this scooter come with keys and we have to use the keys to turn on the scooter??? i'm confused because i heard u can press and hold the power button and hold few secs to turn on the scooter so what's the point of having the key? and it also comes with remote key??? and that is used for what???
There is no key, just remote. If you set the alarm, it kills power to the scoot. To arm alarm, push the lock button. To unarm, push the unlock button. After pushing the unlock button (2 chirps), power is still off. To turn power on, push the lightning ⚡️ button 2 or more times rapidly until you hear a beep. Power will now be on.
@@Desert-Ecruising what is the button to the right of the lightning? that means we will have to use the remote key to turn on the scooter everytime and once we hit the lock button on the remote key it dont matter if the person long press the power button the scooter just wont turn on??? unless we press unlock button along with the lightning???
@@Desert-Ecruisingso if I keep it in the unlock mode will it drain my battery? I know it drains slowly if you don't use your remote at all but was just curious on that.
@JMProductions669 The alarm module is always a direct connection to the unswitched battery voltage as it is what is switching the voltage on/off to the controller. So it will always draw power from the battery regardless of the alarm state.
Set P04 to 1. But it won’t be very accurate. If you really want to know how fast you’re going, you need to use a GPS speedometer app on your phone. Watch this for “P” settings: th-cam.com/video/UY1-WUAxwTo/w-d-xo.html
my scooter wont power on when i long press the power button. wonder if i need to use the remote key to power it on or there is also a on and off switch on left side of the handle bar???? am i missing something???
You need to use the remote as I discussed in a previous reply, if scoot alarm is armed, push the unlock button it should chirp. Then push the lightning ⚡️ putting multiple times quickly until you hear a beep. You should then be able to turn on the display.

When the chargers turn green the battery is fully charged and will be at around 67.2v. The chargers are only trickle charging after they turn green so you won’t overcharge the bay, plus the battery has a protection circuit for that. Just unplug the chargers after they go green as soon as you get a chance. You won’t damage the battery unless you leave the chargers on for days.
@@Desert-Ecruising i just unplugged chargers cause i wasnt sure if its good to power on the scooter to check the battery voltage while it is charging so when i was able to check it was at 3 bars and 59.3 voltage.
If you check the voltage with the charger on it won’t show the true battery voltage. So yes, have chargers disconnected when you check the voltage to get the true battery voltage. Yours is about mid range like mine and as, which is where it should be when not in n use for long periods of time.
@@Desert-Ecruising yea, when i check the voltage and turn on the scooter while it is still charging. i see the voltage jumping up and down between .1 like 61.9 and 62v continuously up and down.
Depends on how fast you go, weight, terrain etc. Keeping it to 25mph in single motor mode on fairly level roads, I would guess you could get around 40 miles at least.
Was reading stuff somewhere they said if u just keep one motor on and use one. Not sure by default when motor it uses if u run one the front or rear??? It will cause the motor wear and tear and it's very hard on the motor can damage it more easily than if u keep both motors running at same time?

@@Desert-Ecruising what do u think, i can just leave it like that, its not a big deal?? Thank u so much for ur opinion.
@@Desert-Ecruising I thought it comes with a remote key, all i got is the picture of a remote on the manual guide 🤦🏻♂️😂

hey...would you recommend waiting a certain amount of time once the battery is fully charged before using/riding the scooter or it only applies to charging the battery like you said its best to wait at least an hr and let the battery cool down before charging???
No. Ride right away if you want. The battery doesn’t get hot while charging.
this scooter torque is crazy...had turbo and dual mode turned on and changed motor output to use 50% from 25% and gear 3 didnt expect it take off so fast...i felt like my front wheel was in the air for a quick sec...luckily i was able hit brake fast enough and scooter immediately stopped and i heard big tire burn sound lmfao SMH....i even slowly press down on the throttle even a slight tap or press but if u hold it down too long from the start it can easily send u off the scooter or drag u along while your other foot in still up in the air dangling and not completely on the scooter board...and especially if the front two nuts near suspension is loose... or where you fold up your scooter that part i feel like for my scooter if i rock the handlebar hard enough there is a slight movement of it up and down... so i guess something is loose...???
Watch my video on battery care:
th-cam.com/video/9j4RCdTFQ5Y/w-d-xo.html
@@Desert-Ecruising Excellent! Got it! 👍
so far i have it charging and the charger has a fan running. how can i tell if the scooter is done charging??? i see a red light on the charger??? how long does it usually take when charging the scooter with both charger??? that will depend on battery it has left too but if the battery is fully dead or if we are going to use it for the first time how long should we charge it for???
did you laotie come with some juice on the battery if yes. did you end up charging it and for how long? does it tell you what it recommends like how many hours should we charge the battery before disconnecting the charger? is there a way to tell if the battery is fully charged? how many hours it take to fully charge the scooter with two chargers and also when using just a single charger???
Don’t know what you mean by “juice” so I’d say no, I didn’t have juice on my battery. Charge the battery fully before use. Watch this video: th-cam.com/video/ecGrJodNA58/w-d-xo.html
@@Desert-Ecruising like when you use the remote key to turn on the scooter were you able to see if the scooter still had battery remaining or it was on low battery so i will have to charge it??? can i turn on the scooter while it is charging to check the battery or that is not recommended and i should unplug the scooter before turning it on if i want to check the battery???
You can check the battery voltage anytime. Mine was at around 60v when I received it, which is good.
how long after the ride should we wait before charging the battery? i was reading somewhere that we should wait till the battery cools down before charging if you are planning to charge it after the ride???
I’d wait an hour. If I were in a big hurry for some reason, 20 minutes should be ok.
By default the power of the scooter is set at 25% power. So just wondering how fast(mph) can it go with the power set at 25% power? At 50? And at 75?
I don’t remember getting a valve with Flatout, but just save it for a spare and use the one from the scoot.

just unboxed my scooter but i'm having trouble tightening the bolts for the handle bar stems the tool that came with the scooter is a bit defective cause its not like the exact shape and i hope the bolt is the right one they put/came with the handlebar stem...would you recommend charging the scooter if it has some juice on the battery left and if yes before first time using it how long should i charge it for? just dont want to overcharge the battery since it already have juice i'm sure most stuff that comes in with battery have some juice left on it. the turn signal looks so cheap and not metal someone can get mad and kick ur back of scooter and those turn signal lights can easily go bye bye...
Go buy a decent set of metric Allen wrenches. Sizes 1.5mm up to 8mm.
None of my bolts needed to be tightened.
nvm i was able to finally get the bolts to tighten it was dark and i had to literally get the tool exactly the way and just right before the bolts can screw it tight.

I just saw the close up shot. Its 21700 cells 16s8p.
Li-ion according to the website. The voltage range is the same for both,

can u explain the nominal 60v? i thought every li-on battery pack has like a limit amount of charge before it gets weaker like 1500 to 2000 charges every time you plug it in a charger...
if i have not plan on using my scooter for at least 2-3 or 2-4 days or a week, what do you recommend that we charge the scooter to? Right now, I plan on bringing my battery down to close to like 52v before I plan to charge it up and you said charging it full is not good if your not riding it for more than a day???
62v is the ideal storage voltage.
I wouldn’t run it down to 52v unless I had to to get home. You’re pushing the lower limit. Not sure why you would want to do that.
@GINGERBUSHTOM that depends on how fast your going and if in single or dual motor mode.

How do I change the km/h to mph?
Set P04 to 1. But it won’t be very accurate. If you really want to know how fast you’re going, you need to use a GPS speedometer app on your phone.

my scooter wont power on when i long press the power button. wonder if i need to use the remote key to power it on or there is also a on and off switch on left side of the handle bar???? am i missing something???
You need to use the remote as I discussed in a previous reply, if scoot alarm is armed, push the unlock button it should chirp. Then push the lightning ⚡️ putting multiple times quickly until you hear a beep. You should then be able to turn on the display.

When the chargers turn green the battery is fully charged and will be at around 67.2v. The chargers are only trickle charging after they turn green so you won’t overcharge the bay, plus the battery has a protection circuit for that.
