- We decided to put our hedgehogs, Ruby and Mable, into new, bigger tanks. In this video, we will show you what hedgehogs need in an enclosure, what to feed them, and how to give them a bath, along with other proper care needs.
We will be posting videos for all the animals in our animal room about how to care for them as well!

I pray Mabel got a much bigger enclosure.
this is way too small i sad:( hedgehogs can get way too stressed with small cages and get very sick
the absolute minimum is 4 sq feet, 6+ is recommended. the fact that theres only enough room for one hide and a wheel is sad tbh

What's the bare minimum size tank for a hedgehog? Thinking about getting hedgehog so wanna provide it with good care.

I thought this was a joke but it’s not... I am really upset this is real because it is horrible
their little legs. their little butts that wiggle when they run. I am actually dying.
You cannot use pine for bedding, please provide correct information
1- tanks aren’t good for the hedgehog
2- try a bin they’ll have more room
3- go on Etsy and lookup hedgehog hide they would be fabric it’s so much better for ur hedgehog. Since they like to be warm
4- where’s the calcium for ur hedgehog. He needs some fruits and veggies
5- u can use baby shampoo it’s so much better and u should scrub softly so that no quills fallout
6- they never come out of hibernation because they will die. They don’t have the body to hold all that food as if a bear could
You did do the right thing of keeping them apart but you should use this, so they wouldn’t die or become sick. 🙏🏼 use this info to keep ur hedgehogs lives. So they could live to the fullest without being sick or something.
Tanks are fine for hedgehogs but they dont recommend because the big ones are expensive but I agree with everything else

This is sad! Their cage needs to be large they can get really stressed in a small cage.

Thats too small mine is 8 area 2 width 4 length
You should do a Pac-Man frog or snake feeding

@@94hoi97 they probably saw the cage when scrolling and clicked out of shock of curiosity, they is way way to small for a hedgehog and a lot of the info and general care is wrong
The idea is to do lots of research so it's good that they clicked on the video?? You should be doing a TON of research and maybe they alr know a bit.

Animal abuse. These animals walk 4 km's a night. Are you insane for putting that animal in such a small place?
Wow... that is a horrible set up. They should NOT be in a glass tank, that glass tank is way too small they require at least 4 feet of space, NEVER use a wheel for any small critter including hedgehogs.
Hedgehogs are supposed to have wheels so they are active and don't get overweight.
