- A rapidly growing brush fire near the 5 Freeway in Gorman forced evacuation orders Saturday. As of Sunday morning, the fire had grown to nearly 11,000 acres and was zero percent contained.

Is this station so desperate for news that they have to post a reporter just feet from the blazing fire??

what govt agency started this fire?!

It's settled. Arson causes global warming 😂

His democratic friend threw the match😂
Of course it was intentional
11,000 miles?! Holy crap that fire has circled the earth almost twice!!!!!!!
1. 11,000 ACRES, not miles. 2. Also circling the Earth twice would cover approximately 80,150 kilometers or 49,802 miles.3. Measuring from its furthest points, the contiguous United States is approximately 2,800 miles from east to west, and 1,650 miles from north to south.

GOATS ARE CHEAP LABOR, GOOD FOR LAND, EAT DRY BRUSH, BUT THEY ARE JUST NOT SMART ENOUGH TO USE THEM 😢
Clearly you don’t realize how many goats you would need for that amount of land
@@Imissthe90sletsgoback clearly they breed , free, guess you want this , is stead of goats.
@@Imissthe90sletsgoback did you in California Goats saved the Observatory building, they put goats out , they ate the dry grass, homes , acres burned up , no fire around the hillside of the building. Nothing to kindle the blaze. But people don't learn from good things. 😕
@@Coffee240 no, they would be stolen and taken elsewhere before they could even got a chance to breed, probably towards Mexico if I had to bet…
@@Coffee240 The state has 104 million acres. And almost all of California has a Mediterranean climate that is the reason for the state having a yearly fire season. Just driving across the Central Valley shows how widespread the dry it can be when all you see are miles of dry grass and brush for as far as you can see in every direction. Instead of counting all of the acreage, I'm going to just take a quarter...26 million. On average, it takes about 10 goats to clear an acre of land in a month. So that means California would need 260 million goats for a month. That's 1 out of every 4 goat on the entire planet and just under the number of goats in the top 2 goat countries in the world combined (India and China, who have a combined people population of 2.7 billion...California has 39 million). Just taking a tenth of that is still 26 million. California currently ranks 3rd in the U.S. with just over 103,000 goats. I don't care how much breeding they do, they are not going from 103K to 26 million, let alone 260 million. And even with 26 million, who is going to handle and care for than many? Using goats for fire protection in small areas and near/around important infrastructure in the state are feasible (and already used like you said). But to use goats on a wide scale is not going to happen.

This is all because of DEW, the Direct Energy Weapons they use to create uncontrollable fires of abnormally high levels of heat.

How does a little grass fire grow to 900 acres burned. With all of the fire departments around Elk Grove, Sacramento, Rancho Cordova. There was just no way to put this out with out a grass fire burning 900 acres! Why did it take so long to extinguish? Why did it take so long to respond to it? Why did the people in charge not throw more resources at it, sooner?

Why is there no water drops
They're waiting ✋️ tor it to get serious 😅
lots of rain , the brush grew , It's a natural cycle
There are just not here to perform for you!😮
Water drops probably are happening. There are only so many aircraft that can do drops, especially when there are numerous fires across the state to fight which thin the resources. And the aircraft can only make one drop before they have to go back for more water and retardant. And the facilities that have the capability of providing the water and retardants are limited also....especially (again) when multiple fires are going on.
It’s sage brush.
Where is this?
"Post fire" looks like a REAL fire to me! Maybe they should send in "post firemen"!
Why are they letting it burn?? More overtime??
With only so much water, they have to us fighting techniques that the average person can't understand on the surface. With limited water, they need to use that water at the right time to prevent a fire jump....not just attack the fire with water wherever the fire is.
That crazy
Reporter not thinking 11,000 miles, too excited to think straight! She wants to get out of there before she burns up! 😂

Cal fire is the largest Ariel firefighting fleet in the world with $5 billion budget.

Well it's good to see that there's absolutely no common sense being used like always in California. She's standing there saying the power lines are on if there's a fire that close don't you think they should probably be turned off so they don't cause additional fires duh. She's acting like the fires somehow going to jump over the road that she's standing on that all the firefighters are standing on when the wind is obviously blowing in a different direction. Then we have all these firefighters standing around while this blaze just keeps going I didn't see a single drop of water being put on it so obviously they don't really want it going out they want it to continue burning! And they're not standing in front of the fire they're standing behind the fire and not watering it. So remember this fire is going to get much much bigger because no one's doing anything to keep it from getting bigger! I'm sure we'll hear about power lines going down later causing more fires and firefighters will stand around with trucks full of water not spraying a bit of water on the actual fire. And let me guess they want to call this a wildfire but I guarantee you it was not started by the wild. It was most likely started by a person or a bad decision made by a person! The vast majority of wildfires are not wild in any way shape or form except for the fact that it's wild that they let him get so out of control! The vast majority of fires are started by people whether that be directly or because of a bad decision a person made like leaving power lines on while there's a fire burning right next to your wooden telephone poles
You feel better now that you got all that off your chest. 🤣🤣🤣
We're a burn ecology. 🤷

Whelp...i was supposed to go camping with my kids starting today, but our campsite is under the evacuation orders (Oak Flat, just south of Pyramid Lake)...guess it will have to be postponed. Kids are bummed, but it's better not to be caught up in this. Hopefully it will still be there for us when this fire is contained, it's a beautiful spot. Best of luck to the firefighters, keep safe!!
Ummm…in Southern California alone there’s something like 15,000 campsites, over 33 MILLION acres of forested land, 25 MILLION acres of deserts, and 840 miles of coastline.
Not to mention the 15 MILLION acres of BLM free / dispersed camping in California.
If you can’t find somewhere else to put your sleeping bag for a few nights…the issue isn’t the fire.

@@jabreck1934 Right! It's not real hard to do a quick Google search on a current drought map and see it's not in California yet. They're the furthest from the drought that they've been in 20 years and yet you still have these ignorant people saying this ignorant stuff it's amazing. They believe whatever their Democrat politicians in the mainstream media tells them to believe Glad to see someone else out there have some intelligence and doesn't just believe whatever they're told by whoever tells them
That's California's Cal-fire forestry at work...."No, you can't clear bushes or you'll get a fine." Wild fire is part of nature.
But serious question, how much can Cal Fire do with forests when 57% of them are owned by the Feds (there are 20 national forests in the state) and another 40% are owned by private individuals and corporations? It's not just the state that needs to come up with solutions....the Feds, corporations, and individuals need to pitch in also.
Everything looks so nice and green. I wouldn’t think that it would burn?🔥
Which city? Prayers for the victims.🙏

So is this the same fire that’s blowing over into Nevada? …I can’t find anything out here but I smelled fire all night…
