      Even if progress is being made, there is some delay in officially calling a section of line contained. This is to make sure the firefighters are sure it is contained and no flareups threaten the line.

      The fires are dead out and have been since Wednesday night. There is absolutely zero danger from fire or flooding at this point. I ignored evacuation orders and boy am I glad I did. I'm in the downs and there is absolutely zero chance of fire or floods. It's just been raining steady for 3 days. The government set the fires and now they are lying to everyone about what's going on.

      a few years back we had Wildfire really close to home caused by the BLM, operating a stump grinder without the exhaust spark arrestor. The most amazing thing was the homes were spared because the firefighters got between the fire and the home and suppress the fire before it could burn the home down.
      everything around the house burned all the trees everything was gone but the homes still stood thanks to these men! never seen anything like that in my life.

    Weird how the trees look undamaged.

    • @dgodrummer8110
      @dgodrummer8110 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      yeah it is. and its due to the speed of the fire moving so fast. We see that in the BLM behind our cabin from the missionary ridge fire in 2002 outside Durango. At the time it got close to this subdivision, reverse 911 calls were made saying prepare to evacuate, then 5m later another call saying get out NOW. All due to the high winds.
      22yrs later aspen groves are already 15-20' tall and spreading heavily, looks great in some areas. Most gullies that were burned are now full of aspen as well. The young ponderosa pines are about 5-10' tall, oak brush every where. There's heavily burned areas and there's areas that we're untouched. many strange things occur in a fast moving fire; like fire tornados flipping vehicles that are parked away from the fire in a safety zone.

      The governor declared a state of emergency and Biden declared a federal emergency for the fires and damages. What all do you expect the government to do to stop out of control wildfires other than everything they are currently doing?
      Resources, including more equipment and fire fighters, from 10 states are working this emergency. The government did that too.

    I live in Ruidoso downs and I'm here right now typing this on my front porch. I ignored evacuation notices, and I'm glad I did. So many lies right now from the Man. Allow me to set things straight.
    Both fires are dead out 100%. If I dumped gasoline on my yard and set it on fire it would be out in 3 minutes. The ground is wet.
    There is zero flooding, it's totally BS. It was an average summer monsoon rain storm. Like half an inch over 6 hours. Absolutely nothing here is in danger from fire or floods at this point (Friday night).
    The feds are the real issue they have blockaded the city from the outside world and won't let anyone come back to there houses despite the total lack of danger. Animals are straving to death city wide. The fires are also highly suspicious and have been lied about many times. They claimed it was lighting first but there was not a single cloud for 200 miles the day they started.
