Used to stay at Kairaki in the 60's as a kid and caught heaps of these things. Never utilised them at all. Just left them on the beach. Surprised when some asian dude asked if he could have some...... told him to take all he wanted. Never let anyone know if I caught a salmon though. They got whisked away home.....Good vid.

I went fishing at fortrose the other day,just flicking lures hoping for a kahawai, for about 4 hours and didn't get anything! Two other guys came along and got 2 as soon as they got there! They were using the same lure as me so I'm not sure what I was doing wrong
