Great review! I always learn a lot from your videos.
Glad you enjoyed it Noah!
I tried stedi's carbon fiber sanding sticks with their peel and stick sandpaper on the mufflers for a motorcycle build. Love the sticks for their stiffness and control. But the 400, 600, 800 grit paper leaves a weird pattern on plastic. It works fine, the mufflers came out smooth as silk but they look weird 😅. I cant put my finger on exactly what the heck I'm looking at. Apart from that, the stiffness of the sticks makes it really easy to clear dust out of the sandpaper.
Interesting, I didn't know those were a thing, I'll have to look them up.
Hey Brett thanks for sharing the video, cheers Liam
You're welcome!
They seem ok, the infini ones still seem to be the old reliable though.
I think thats accurate!
My question is how long they last. If they last several models each then that's a reasonable price. But if they only last one or two models then I'll stick to my 100 PC assorted sandpaper from canadian tire that lasts me a dozen kits or so.
Thats a valid point, I haven't had the opportunity to use them for very long, but have built one full kit with them, and so far I haven't really noticed any degradation. But I'll keep using them to get an idea.
can you make a 1/72 me 410🙂🙂
That could be interesting, I'll see about adding one to the stash.
All these specialized products are ok but the cost are something else. As for me hobby lobby and cleaning supplies at a local walmart are good for these supplies for sanding ect.... also cheaper.
Yeah for sure, everyone has to determine what value they get out of these types of products. I think these sanding sponges in particular fall within affordability for me, but perhaps not for everyone.
hang on 5 minute bro it goes for 6 mins lol
I really should change the title to 5ish minute reviews!
