Being a lifer James Scott shouldn't have been allowed to box in professional fights. Yaqui Lopez was a tough as hell fighter who had horrible luck in championship fights.
Got hit on the temple...never recovered from it. Scott was very good against boxers like Lopez and Gregory but against a physical banger like Martin, he didn't have the strength to contend with him. Amazing to see Martin destroyed by Gregory and Matt Franklin later in his career. Very suspect chin but James never really tested it.

Until finally someone realized that they shouldn’t be profiting off of a horrible person and felon. They were lenient with him.
