I have a 37 1/2 opening. Are there recommended spacers? I have a 34 1/2 Height. Can the ballusters be cut to fit?

This gate is made to fit a 36” opening. At 37.5 you would be past the capability that the hardware can accommodate. We’d suggest one of the below gate kits. They work for up to a 48” finished opening and can be cut down to fit your smaller 37.5” opening. The height cannot be modified. The gate is 34” tall. With a 2” space at the bottom it is made to finish at 36”

you guys forgot to tell what the opening of the gate should be, and if it requires wood posts inside.....

Hi there,
The gate is made for a 36" finished opening. And yes, the posts need structural support like a piece of wood or our structural post.

@@avaa.3988 The wood post would be within the post sleeve/wrap at either end of the gate. See 4:50 in the video.
