Tenis star used to be disgustingly good but he was nerfed to the ground. His movement being high and having fast firing and damage was great but of course now hes just average like all the other all stars (except for goalie and maybe hockey)
All star is supposed to be a support from the back by scaring plants into cover and clearing left over plants. That's why you get suppression assist and why the all star needs to charge up cause he's not made to get that many kills, but instead assist. The basic All Star is way to good for it's purpose like a good amount of damage, high health, shield in case if taking to much damage, tackle and punt for large groups of plants, and if you want to be really supportive for your team get hockey and motor they are the must useful for objective game modes like turf, but sadly people don't like these 2 as much due to their lack of damage, but they are probably the best all stars for suppressive fire and team support and that is what the all-star is for.
This is one of the videos I can actually agree on. As a die hard All-Star main, I can proudly say that Motocross Star is a waste of a character. It's literally Goalie Star minus the freezing, and Goalie star is a rare find while evil kinevil over here is even more rare to find. I played with LONG BOMB equipped more than him. Goalie star is by far my favorite. This thing can fire for at least 10 seconds before breaking down. Even better, it makes targeting plants that much easier. Other than that, Golf, Rugby, and Cricket Star were a few popular picks of mine. BFN All-Star is great too, just doesn't feel as responsive when firing up so Spin Class upgrade is essential.
Moto-X Star is definitely the worst, but Golf Star is a close second. His Golf Cannon is weak, it has a long overheat penalty, and the only thing good about Golf Star is his Rate of Fire. Also, did I mention his projectiles are small AND he doesn’t get Splash Damage? Why not just play hockey all Star then he freezes (which also disables abilities and leaves them standing still making them an easy kill) and does way more damage.

I actually think he’s quite underrated. He’s a good counter to torchwood, corn, chomper, and even rose. All these classes are known for having annoying abilities they abuse and spam like crazy. While he’s not the best for damage, he still has some usefulness.
All stars are a top class for me. I don't really stick to one class while playing multiple rounds, but anytime I play All-Star it's a hell of a time. Mostly because the reactions of plants shitting themselves at the sight of you is hilarious. Also when you trap some chomper and imp punt his ass

That, and I’m pretty darn sure he has one of the slowest overheat speeds out of all all-stars. He also has some of the least damage falloff among all-stars and his damage stays consistent enough over mid-long range that he actually out-damages most all-stars at those ranges. His main shortcoming is ofc close range dps, however there are other all-stars that share just as bad a close range dps without the other upsides. I believe you missed the mark on this one by quite a bit.
I feel the same thing is going to happen with cactus, because no one plays cactus unless it's turf on Zombopolis on the third last point, and being an electric cactus. and have sunflower up their billy bottom. And that's why I hate turf.

Similar to how Centurion is a wannabe Camo Ranger, Motor X is a wannabe Goalie Star given how Motor X disables abilities, the problem being that he has a low damage output and the actual gimmick takes too many hits to be viable, while Goalie freezes enemies and has a good damage output. a damage buff and a decrease in how long it takes to muddy someone up by about 25% would help him out.
Don't worry Cam. As an All-Star connoisseur and someone who mained All-Star for 6 months, Moto-X is in fact the worst. But he's still an All-Star, you're still the ultimate cheese, and you move faster while unrevved. Honestly Moto-X would be better if he could mud up people faster than Goalie Star freezing enemies.

Nope he doesn't deal 7 dmg up close... His highest dmg is 3. He deal 3 dmg without damage upgrade and with it too so idk whats the point of having damage upgrade on him. He sometimes deal more damage because of his splash which can do max 8 dmg but still it's pretty random.
The imp punt blew up after you were killed by the power chomper, so the game only showed you how much health he had before it blew up, he only had 7 health left, after.
The motercross star would be a actal character if his dirt divistator would actually prevent abilitys but you have to shot them for a millennium to actually get it to kick in

I have a theory HEAR ME OUT ON THIS. as someone who picked up the game for pc recently and someone who's had periodic experience with it I think moto-Cross star is the SECOND worst all star. I wont specifically state wrestling star is the worst Let me explain why 1. Hes fast and tanky. YES he has the same health but look at how fast wolfy moves in the video. Moto X star is THE fastest zombie in the game to my awareness abilitys aside. 2. He actuallly hits 4-5 damage not 3. Apperintly his damage is split. May test this with a friend but wiki and other anecdotal sources say he does 1-2 splash and 2-3 regular damage. I also heard. Somewhere his overheat Time takes a while so his dps can't be That bad. And even if it is, the long overheat time will help. 3. He actually had a form of status unlike other all stars. It's better then having no status at all like some all stars. I will update this as I continue to use and experiment with how to actually perform good with all stars (guys get bundled harder then young people shag) I would also like to clarify my first reasoning... being fast and tanky is an incredible asset as with a solid primary it means that a character is rather solid as we see with citrons

Well imo it all depends in your play style pretty much, i play motocross very well, often i had even the most kills and for me it was the easiest one to handle because of its splash
The one thing that I don't like about Moto is that the mud lasts half a second and sometimes if you are lagging enough the mud on them is not visible on their screen so they can use their abilities.

My guy imo Tennis is one of the best, that extra speed can actually be the difference between wether or not you survive that hot rod chomper trying to get you.

Honestly, Moto needs to straight up cancel abilities if they are in use. Drop a corn out of the sky Husk hoping, Remove Pea or Sunflowers from Rooted modes, etc. Then raise the damage slightly (Like by 1 or 2 points) and he'd be at least decent
Because there's not much you can do in terms of variency when it comes to someone who uses a minigun. The most creative they can get is whether or not it shoots ice, or fire. After that they were stuck with useless ideas like, one that shoots faster but less damage or slower but more damage. But the ice/fire varients is as good as it gets because there's not much trade off from using them. I heard someone say Hockey star was meant to be a toxic varient, which was why there's that toxic smoke emitting off of his gun and that the devs probably scrapped it thinking it'd be too OP, but in reality Hockey star is just a worse Golf star in all respects.
It pains me to say this since I really like the idea of him but he’s just a worse goalie star, all moto x does is disable abilities and makes the Enemy slightly slower meanwhile goalie freezes them and disables everything including movement, you could argue that he’s good since he’s slightly faster than most all stars but we already have someone who specializes in that tennis star and when you compare the speed while shooting tennis blows him out of the water. I do like this character but he’s just not that good he even does less damage than goalie so theirs another reason to choose goalie over him
Moyor is actually pretty good. Atleast better than some other All-Stars, like Golf. Motor can be useful for some ability spammers, such as Pogo Pea and Chompers.
I think wrestling star is crap. He’s just like mob cob, a cruddier version of rugby star. Moto-X star’s gimmick can be super helpful in some cases, and when you get some of his better upgrades, he is a powerhouse.
In terms of abilities, All-Star is my favourite, but with the exception of Cricket, Goalie and Rugby they're all so similar to me. I can't tell the difference between Hockey and Baseball stars.
Moto X star is the first character I mastered. Him being the fastest moving all star feels really nice. Not gonna lie the damage is shit, but the all star abilities are able to win you one on one engagements. Being able to move around fast and provide cover for your team with a nice debuff to boot is really fun for me at least. That makes him my favourite all star. I do not have tennis star yet though but I am guessing I will enjoy him a lot.
I personally believe that the Rugby Star is the worst. His slower firerate in exchange for splash damage does not feel rewarding. If I wanted a slow heavy hitter, I’d play Wrestling Star. Motor X Star is, imo, really good as long as you’re not against someone like a Law Pea or Agent Pea.

I think moto-Cross star is the SECOND worst all star. I wont specifically state wrestling star is the worst
Let me explain why
1. Hes fast and tanky. YES he has the same health but look at how fast wolfy moves in the video. Moto X star is THE fastest zombie in the game to my awareness abilitys aside.
2. He actuallly hits 4-5 damage not 3. Apperintly his damage is split. May test this with a friend but wiki and other anecdotal sources say he does 1-2 splash and 2-3 regular damage. I also heard. Somewhere his overheat Time takes a while so his dps can't be That bad. And even if it is, the long overheat time will help.
3. He actually had a form of status unlike other all stars. It's better then having no status at all like some all stars.
I will update this as I continue to use and experiment with how to actually perform good with all stars (guys get bundled harder then young people shag)
I would also like to clarify my first reasoning... being fast and tanky is an incredible asset as with a solid primary it means that a character is rather solid as we see with citrons

My god, the game just keeps giving the worst first so it wants much replayability and grind to get the best of all.

Nobody realized that moto-X star hits split damage, he hits 3 and then the shot after that hits 8 and you cant see the 8 because there are too many 3's

Honestly I think wrestling star is pretty decent, he does good damage but wether you drop a lot of kills or not just really depends on how good you are as an all-star.

Well imo it all depends in your play style pretty much, i play motocross very well, often i had even the most kills and for me it was the easiest one to handle because of its splash

The one thing that I don't like about Moto is that the mud lasts half a second and sometimes if you are lagging enough the mud on them is not visible on their screen so they can use their abilities.
Moto x was one of the first characters I maxed out. Now I know people don’t like him. But my personal opinion he is good. My opinion for the worst all star is tenis star.
My guy imo Tennis is one of the best, that extra speed can actually be the difference between wether or not you survive that hot rod chomper trying to get you.

I dont really mind the idea of a supporting All-star bc basically the All-Star is already more of defensive character. I dont really mind the gimmick of MotorX Star, it basically doesn't really work that much. For Wrestling Star, i think its ok kinda like Rugby, high damage in exchange of lower fire rate.

Honestly, Moto needs to straight up cancel abilities if they are in use. Drop a corn out of the sky Husk hoping, Remove Pea or Sunflowers from Rooted modes, etc. Then raise the damage slightly (Like by 1 or 2 points) and he'd be at least decent

Because there's not much you can do in terms of variency when it comes to someone who uses a minigun. The most creative they can get is whether or not it shoots ice, or fire. After that they were stuck with useless ideas like, one that shoots faster but less damage or slower but more damage. But the ice/fire varients is as good as it gets because there's not much trade off from using them. I heard someone say Hockey star was meant to be a toxic varient, which was why there's that toxic smoke emitting off of his gun and that the devs probably scrapped it thinking it'd be too OP, but in reality Hockey star is just a worse Golf star in all respects.

It pains me to say this since I really like the idea of him but he’s just a worse goalie star, all moto x does is disable abilities and makes the Enemy slightly slower meanwhile goalie freezes them and disables everything including movement, you could argue that he’s good since he’s slightly faster than most all stars but we already have someone who specializes in that tennis star and when you compare the speed while shooting tennis blows him out of the water. I do like this character but he’s just not that good he even does less damage than goalie so theirs another reason to choose goalie over him

Moyor is actually pretty good. Atleast better than some other All-Stars, like Golf. Motor can be useful for some ability spammers, such as Pogo Pea and Chompers.

I think wrestling star is crap. He’s just like mob cob, a cruddier version of rugby star. Moto-X star’s gimmick can be super helpful in some cases, and when you get some of his better upgrades, he is a powerhouse.

My favorite All Star because of his suppression. Goalie was good before the ice nerf.
In terms of abilities, All-Star is my favourite, but with the exception of Cricket, Goalie and Rugby they're all so similar to me. I can't tell the difference between Hockey and Baseball stars.
Baseball fires slower and does more damage
Moto X star is the first character I mastered. Him being the fastest moving all star feels really nice. Not gonna lie the damage is shit, but the all star abilities are able to win you one on one engagements. Being able to move around fast and provide cover for your team with a nice debuff to boot is really fun for me at least. That makes him my favourite all star. I do not have tennis star yet though but I am guessing I will enjoy him a lot.
I personally believe that the Rugby Star is the worst. His slower firerate in exchange for splash damage does not feel rewarding. If I wanted a slow heavy hitter, I’d play Wrestling Star. Motor X Star is, imo, really good as long as you’re not against someone like a Law Pea or Agent Pea.
So just forget that the baseball star exists cause I feel like he's on the low his fire rate is so high that it over heats his weapon WAY too fast 😅😅
