Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Pakistan but then moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when I was only 9 months old. Have been raised and lived there all my pre-married life.
Q:Why do you mention Sweden in your videos?
A: I moved to Sweden after marriage. Lived there for 7 years, then moved back to Saudi Arabia in 2018.
Q: What is your education?
A: I have done a four year honours program in Information Technology and Computing.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Naveed for 7 years. We have two sons - Yahya is 4 and baby Ziyad is 1 year old.
Q: Why are you Homeschooling him?
A: In general, I am not satisfied with the quality of education in schools. But also, our local school's system (we have only one or two international schools in our city) is not satisfactory. We are aiming to homeschool till 6 years of age for now.

My son is 7 yrs.He started his schooling late due to Covid so basically he is grade 3(kg) of preprimary but he don't know how to blend.Due to school he is so confused between phonics and big letters now.His school teached him phonics till nursery then in big letter sounds from Kg.Like he has learnt number names in big letters.How to make him learn blending.

@Ajaffri-kt4go Start with Verbal blending, first letter sound and segmenting. Your child is 7 which means if you do it step by step, it will take him a lot less time. I've been teaching my nephew who is 7 with this method. And he's grabbing it real quick. His basics are all messed up, still he's doing great with this method.

Aoa Sara. I watched ur last video regarding phonics listening and then identifying. My child had already started recognizing A through this method and i fiund your video helpful in how to proceed further. Jazak Allah khairan ❤
My son is almost 4 now. Is it advisable that I start Urdu phonics side by side? And how to do that?? Urdu and engliah separately or e.g focuainv S in englsh and 'seen' in urdu. What do u suggest?

WalaikumAssalam! I'll be honest, I'm not sure how to go about with Urdu. Yahya got a teacher who has worked well with kids. She doesn't say what her technique is but Yahya can read chapters and write well.
But that said, for the early years Kifayat Publisher's books are amazing. I will restart those with Ziyad. We've been so busy with progressing in English that we completely stopped studying Urdu :D
I'm not too worried about it as I will admit Ziyad in Nursery in March. And he'll have a whole year to build the concepts.
So, long story short, do what suits you best but also invest in Kifayat's Urdu Books Keyla 👌
