    Hey, I've just created a custom object. The problem is that it doesn't appear as an option in Global Search. Neither any record appears. What could it be? Thanks in advance!

    Great Video, could you please do one on Visibility, I have seen the video , who sees what, and Super Badge, But I still would like to see how you set up visibility. Thanks

      I'd love to make a video about sharing in general, if that would be useful to you. There are obviously several different ways to approach the challenge of visibility and collaboration! Thank you for your feedback!

    What if I want to change the object visibility? How can I go back and change the profiles I have selected as Default on?

    • @SFDCGuide
      @SFDCGuide  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Maria! Thanks for the question. You can tackle this two ways, from the object setup (to choose profiles with access), or from the Profile setup (to choose objects a profile has access to).
      Probably the simplest is editing the object, rather than a profile. In Lightning you'll have to find Setup > Object Manager. In Classic, it's at Setup > Create > Objects.
      Hope this helps. Cheers!

      Hey Vipul, good question. Depending on your implementation, look into using a @future method or outbound messages.

    Can we create Custom Objects / Custom Fields using Apex code?

    • @SFDCGuide
      @SFDCGuide  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Kiran, yes we can. Are you familiar with the Metadata API? This would be a use case where you would consider leveraging that. Here's a link to the developer documentation:
