Tzeentch is probably the main reason the Imperium is so hopeless for most of its inhabitants. Even the hope for improving your life could make him show up.
Chaos is a bit like Manifestation in the real world, if you don't think a lot about where a certain intention is coming from then it likely will be supplicated in whatever form good or bad, but if you make sure to be more specific, it's less likely to go pear-shaped
I think the main reason is the Imperium is so hopeless is just because crushing industrialism is the easiest way to war machine. Lets seriously not pretend the Imperium is being evil bastards that prey on its citizens out of some big brain effort to keep Tzeentch away. Especially not if the Chaos gods get by far the most juice the more intense a thing is. I can think of no hope more intense than the hope I will get out of this horrific hiveworld. You could say the people of the IoM are hopeless I'd argue they're at the bottom so they have everything in the world to hope UP to.
So fun extra note about Kairos, chucking Kairos into the well wasn't the first thing Tzeentch did; he'd studied the well for eons, and sent dozens of greater daemons like Kairos, and thousands of lesser daemons as well, all without any success before he finally got frustrated enough to throw in his favourite birb-boi.
My favourite thing about the story about the girl with the dog is she looked human but her attire was not that of the imperium, and she answered every question perfectly to get to the centre of tzeentch’s library including the one question that tzeentch himself didn’t even know…. (If I’m remembering the story correctly)
I think one of the sadder bits about the chaos gods is there are GOOD aspects to them but since they reflect reality they become Grimdark. Khorne is a god of honor and martial prowess, Nurgle is a god of love life and acceptance, Tzeench is a god of learning and hope, Slaanesh is a god of beauty art and creativity

Not really, those good aspects are part of the perception the followers of chaos (or the writers) gives the chaos gods and that can be argued are inherent to life in general, while in-universe they are mostly the negative extremes adding together into what it is essentially sapient cancer with the powers of gods. In Slaanesh case, out of universe, they were always meant to be excess with no inherent good, so it may have been added later by writters.
"This person has hit me before. This person will hit me again later. But what is this pain I'm feeling right now?"-Kairos, probably The girl was either turned into an experiment or adopted by Tzeentch to figure out how she slipped through whatever crack she found.
I always loved the description of how Flamers of Tszeentch attack: it could be flames that strip, burn and mutate flesh, or it could be a torrent of fragrant perfume, or a shower of bananas. There may also be custard.
The girl and her little black dog is supposedly a reference to book version of "The Wizard of Oz" and I can see why. It feels like Tzeentch's entire city is a reference to it. A single winding road leading to a gemstone city where an all knowing god resides. A yellow brick road leading to an emerald city where an all knowing wizard resides.
Another thing about Kairos is that if you ask him a question about your future, one head will give a response, then the second will immediately pipe up with a contradictory, but still plausible answer. One of those heads is telling the truth, but you don’t know which, and the head that gives the real answer changes every time someone asks.
Of the chaos gods, Slaanesh and Tzeentch have always been my favorite. The corruption through depravity of Slaanesh and the unending schemes of Tzeentch.

They learned they can stave off Slaanesh eating their souls by doing Slaanesh things and essentially overfeeding Slaanesh And the best hope against the Drukhari for a typical person is "pray they don't take you alive"

Not really. The gods of Chaos cannot just drink the emotions and thoughts of any mortal. Those thoughts needs to be OFFERED to that God. If it was just any thought and emotion fed the Chaos Gods, the galaxy would have been dead 10000 times over by now. That is why The Armor of Contempt works. That is why The Armor of Contempt does not for example feed Malice. That is why the rage of Black Templars does not feed Khorne. The Gods are made of these emotions and thoughts reflected in the Warp. But they are not the full embodiment of them.
So an important thing : dark eldars don’t ever ally with Slaanesh. They hate them, as much as craftsworlds do. Drukhari somehow found a way to hijack warp powers in order to make _themselves_ win while everyone else loses, both the tortured and Slaanesh. Counterpart being : if they attempt to cast a spell, slaanesh rips their soul and eat it before they finish casting it. They also need more and more suffering to stay the same “age”, people like Urien Rakarth (who is older than the fall) will need more suffering to be produced in order to be functional, otherwise they get old very quick. There’s a lot of stories of drukhari allying with Ynnari or even craftsworlds eldar, they just despise them for rejecting the true way of the eldar. A way to see drukhari’s relation with slaanesh is like the little sibling who absolutely hates what the older does, but does a lighter version of it. While Slaanesh will eat parts of you in intercourses, drukhari will only bite.

One day I was scrolling through shorts, and I saw this guy who was just walking the beach, breaking open rocks looking for fossils, and for some reason, it kinda stuck with me. Like this rock had probably been on this beach for DECADES, just chilling, doing it own thing being a rock, and before it was probably somewhere else for HUNDREDS of years, just chilling, being a rock. It didn't even look special, just a kinda big round rock, and it was destroyed because some dude thought there MIGHT be a fossil in it. It just kinda struck me how really nothing is safe from human curiosity and that really reminds me of Tzeench.
@jollybucket1873 oh ok thanks for the clarification. There is hive fleet Kronos who hunt the warp creatures. And I think Tzeench must have heard of/ noticed them some time. Even if he haven't I think he'd like them at least in theory. You do bring up a good point tho as the tyranids (to our knowledge) don't go to the warp alot becase there is no bio mass for them to consume. They do have a strong psychic presence tho which whould imply a stronger presence in the warp.

The Ruinous Powers seem not to be fueled by war, excess, change or disease directly, but by our emotional observations of those things. If Necrons fought Necrons, they likely wouldn’t fuel Khorne.

GW hasn't laid out the mechanics of the warp explicitly, but it seems that belief, emotions, and an ensouled entity's 'way of being' is what fuels specific warp entities. The realspace entities connection to the warp, or 'soul' is basically a multiplier for the soul-fuel. Necrons are at 0, while Tau are at a like .1. Humans are like a 1, Eldar are at a 3, or something to that effect.

Guys I absolutely love your videos, I’m currently on vacation and I’ve been binging them and I’ve been learning so much about about warhammer and I love your humor. I am from the Netherlands so not quite close, some fun facts about the Netherlands: we have the tallest men in the world, at some point we didn’t agree with our prime minister so we ate him and my favorite because we are such a low country and we’ve basically tamed the seas when our country gets taken over we can drown our own country. I think both the guy and the girl were in the right. If the girl felt like she was talking to a different person than she was before, then she was cat fished. However, for the guy, dating is hard as a man and you gotta use what ever advantage you can get ahold of. I've been an introvert my whole life but I've always been charismatic to an extent. I was a weird introvert were I wasn't just straight up popular but I was cool with everyone.
I've never spent money on a streamer or content creator. I'm too poor and stingy. But I actively *need* more Isyander/Koda content and its worth joining the patreon to make sure we get more of this perfectly described talk of 40k. It's been a week and I'm still finding myself using 'tippy top' to describe things after that Khorne recap.
The Dude built the support staff from Date A Live, but competant? Wrong follow through, right idea so long as you mind needing to learn instead of leaning on the tech. I like Chaos in 40K because of all the bits like this. The nuance & interplay works especially well when you add the idea the other three feeding one passively.
I remember hearing this story about the little girl and her dog when she went thought the fortess. In the story she went through all of tzeenchs trials and got to the last riddle at the last gate. Tzeench asked the girl, "Who is the true ruler of the warp?" The girl paused for a second and then answered "Games Workshop" and the gate opened. Idk if its canon but still funny

If you think about it, what makes the daemonculaba bad isn't how much suffering it creates. It's the sheer dispassionate calm that the Iron Warriors showcase. The dark eldar do much much worse but the dark eldar aren't efficient about the suffering they make. If you wanted to make the dark eldar really scary, make them efficient. Why not make the dark eldar start their own farms of ethically raised short lifespan, high sensitivity, relatively high living standard sapient high warp signature beings? That would make their suffering worth more and give slanesh even more reason not to take them. Heck, slanesh might even empower them in this endeavor since she who thirsts probably can't do it herself, lacking the intense concentration and planning that endeavor would create.
I'm laughing at the whole "Tzeench playing Wizard 101 with Magnus and the Word Bearers" and I have to say: he hacked the thing and gave himself and everyone willing to shred their whole brain admin privileges.

There’s a lot of stories of drukhari allying with Ynnari or even craftsworlds eldar, they just despise them for rejecting the true way of the eldar.
A way to see drukhari’s relation with slaanesh is like the little sibling who absolutely hates what the older does, but does a lighter version of it.
While Slaanesh will eat parts of you in intercourses, drukhari will only bite.
I always thought Warhammer was just minis or board games and never realised the lore was so in depth until finding channels like yours, by mistake when bored, and am now into the novels. Currently reading angel Exterminatus at moment thanks to you and others. Thanks

One day I was scrolling through shorts, and I saw this guy who was just walking the beach, breaking open rocks looking for fossils, and for some reason, it kinda stuck with me. Like this rock had probably been on this beach for DECADES, just chilling, doing it own thing being a rock, and before it was probably somewhere else for HUNDREDS of years, just chilling, being a rock. It didn't even look special, just a kinda big round rock, and it was destroyed because some dude thought there MIGHT be a fossil in it. It just kinda struck me how really nothing is safe from human curiosity and that really reminds me of Tzeench.

There is hive fleet Kronos who hunt the warp creatures. And I think Tzeench must have heard of/ noticed them some time. Even if he haven't I think he'd like them at least in theory.
You do bring up a good point tho as the tyranids (to our knowledge) don't go to the warp alot becase there is no bio mass for them to consume. They do have a strong psychic presence tho which whould imply a stronger presence in the warp.

The Ruinous Powers seem not to be fueled by war, excess, change or disease directly, but by our emotional observations of those things. If Necrons fought Necrons, they likely wouldn’t fuel Khorne.
@@KonRoge11 Necrons wouldn't fuel Khorne, but that's because they have no connection to the warp. GW hasn't laid out the mechanics of the warp explicitly, but it seems that belief, emotions, and an ensouled entity's 'way of being' is what fuels specific warp entities. The realspace entities connection to the warp, or 'soul' is basically a multiplier for the soul-fuel. Necrons are at 0, while Tau are at a like .1. Humans are like a 1, Eldar are at a 3, or something to that effect.

I think both the guy and the girl were in the right. If the girl felt like she was talking to a different person than she was before, then she was cat fished. However, for the guy, dating is hard as a man and you gotta use what ever advantage you can get ahold of. That said, if the guy wasn't using the AI as a form of self mentoring, and isn't using the overall experience to improve himself, and figure out how to talk without needing that crutch then he is just doing himself and any women he interacts with a disservice.

If the Well of eternity is in the middle of the universe, would that imply that the chaos gods are active in more than just our own galaxy. It wouldn’t really make them any more powerful or any less powerful. As they have to make allot more daemons but also have allot more followers, and there is life in other galaxies. As shown by the tyranids. So my question to anyone who might know it, are they active in other galaxies?
I'd be curious how a war between tzeentch's demons and the tyranids would go considering "improvise, adapt, overcome" is the motto for both of them.

I think the dark Eldar look at the demonculaba and go all it rookie work. They can do do go further it just does not get described in such detail.
If you think about it, what makes the daemonculaba bad isn't how much suffering it creates. It's the sheer dispassionate calm that the Iron Warriors showcase. The dark eldar do much much worse but the dark eldar aren't efficient about the suffering they make.
If you wanted to make the dark eldar really scary, make them efficient. Why not make the dark eldar start their own farms of ethically raised short lifespan, high sensitivity, relatively high living standard sapient high warp signature beings? That would make their suffering worth more and give slanesh even more reason not to take them. Heck, slanesh might even empower them in this endeavor since she who thirsts probably can't do it herself, lacking the intense concentration and planning that endeavor would create.
I'm laughing at the whole "Tzeench playing Wizard 101 with Magnus and the Word Bearers" and I have to say: he hacked the thing and gave himself and everyone willing to shred their whole brain admin privileges.
