some of us are very much fascinated with firearms over here too, we just aren't as eccentric with it all which is why there is the popular myth that guns are banned over here when they very much aren't.

Some of these limits can be gotten passed by owning specific licenses and such. We can own .50 BMG rifles if we so please, all sorts of shotguns. Pistols sadly are... Something that requires a wonderful brace on the back end and a lengthened barrel to make it rifle sized, usually people will put a shroud over the lengthened barrel to make it look like a suppressor and such. Ironically, I believe pistol braces and such aren't all that easy to use in the US?
@tyrians i would say you might want to check your own gun laws like I just did. Semi auto shotgun? Yep only 2 rounds can be loaded,need a shotgun permit ect ect. This is a lot of red tape to own even a semi auto, not sure why your not telling the entire story and skewing some facts. To simply end this, point out the UK TH-cam channel that does what say administrative results do or even Mr guns and gear, hell take just the guy with a table full of semi autos,30 round magazines.

so many people crying over letting the hammer drop as if the weapons dont have small explosions going off inside them well over 1,000 times. drop your hammer its fine if it breaks its a quality issue not the act itself
The explosion doesn’t go off in the lower. The hammer smacking the thin aluminum piece in the lower when there is no BCG installed(upper) is the reason people say not to drop the hammer. But I think people over react as it’s ,in my experience, pretty rare for them to actually break. Still, if you buy an expensive lower it would suck for one little avoidable mishap like that to occur. It’s definitely not a quality issue though if it does happen to break imo.
They flip because the hammer isn’t striking the lower, it’s striking the bolt catch. If done repeatedly it absolutely can break it as that’s a lot of force on such a small part that was not designed to handle it. However with that said, you are correct that if just a couple hammer drops break the catch it is likely bad qc, but it’s still not something to make a habit of doing.

Nothing like the sound of a hammer hitting the receiver in the morning. The crush washer is for running unsuppressed, you ABSOLUTELY need to run muzzle device shims if running suppressed. Crush washers with suppressors are a big no no. Great gift, lucky girl.
