Why doesn't the national/local Cincy media analysts/league office admit that the refs deserve a ton of blame for costing the Bengals in the last 2/3 matchups, ironically both games with Burrow? There were 5 eerily similar egregious incorrect calls and 1 missed call (Chase's hip drop tackle). Those 5 blatantly incorrect calls were (extra 3rd down when Kelce didn't get the 1st down-Bengals would have gotten the ball back to end the game, bogus intentional grounding on Burrow conveniently to give the ball back to the Chiefs with 2 minutes to go, a phony roughing the passer call to gift the Chiefs a victory by 3, 2 DPI's one to negate Mahomes' 3rd INT and the last one to again gift them 3 points and a 1 point victory). If Missed Money Mac makes that extra point, we go to OT even with the officiating being inexcusable. The refs cost the Bengals 10 additional points- at least 3 from Mahomes' negated 3rd INT and 7 off of the missed hip drop tackle. That would have essentially made the 4th and 16 DPI call inconsequential in determining the outcome of the game. Missed Money Mac deserves some blame as well and no one in the media will admit it.

I get your point. But what do you mean when you say dominated? Every time these two teams play each other it is a close hotly contested battle to the end. Every single game came down to to the last minute and a couple of plays. Even last year with Jake Browning as the Bengals starter was close and competitive. The Chiefs are very well coached and extremely opportunistic. They make few mistakes and capitalize off the other teams mistakes. They are not dominant over the better teams in the league.
