Don & Phil were so very handsome & so exceptionally talented. That beautiful harmony will never be duplicated. I celebrate all of their accomplishments & happy times & I have sorrow for their very tough & difficult times. I really enjoyed them with Tennessee Ernie Ford. God Bless them all. The Everly's are forever in my heart.❤❤
I love this episode of the Ford show. You can see and hear the heart felt joy of Ernie and Don and Phil Everly as they sing birddog together. Don't you just wish we could go back and live a simple life again. No bombardment of social media, civility, no woke movement, rules, expectations of people and business to do the right things, instead of anything goes and excuses. How far our society has fallen.
I hope that TH-cam doesn't delete these Tennessee Ernie Ford Show videos. This is The Ford Show, which I watched on NBC-TV on Thursday nights from 1958 to the summer of 1961. Tennessee Ernie Ford was one of my favorite singers, and I loved watching his show on Thursday nights at 9:30 P.M. on WESH-TV, Channel 2, here in Central Florida. I hope you can find a Ford show that Vincent Price appeared in as a guest star, and even a video of Tennessee Ernie Ford Meets King Arthur, a 1960 TV special with both Tennessee Ernie Ford and Vincent Price. Yours truly, Margaret Garnto.
Can you tell me a little more about this special? I don’t have any knowledge of this special, I did find an old “shooting script” however. (www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/tennessee-ernie-ford-meets-king-arthur-shooting) I do know of some folks from a website known as the Lost Media Wiki (lostmediawiki.com/Home) who have found various forms of “lost media” over the past few years. I hope these two items help!
PS: Please download these videos if you can! Save them using a TH-cam to mp4 converter, so just in case these videos are deleted, they’ll still be in the hands of the public. Thanks!
I have no knowledge of this special, because I never saw it when it aired on NBC-TV in 1960. The webpages you posted were never found. Either that, or their content was removed, so they didn't help. Thanks anyway. Yours truly, Margaret Garnto.
@@geraldbaker4019 Dear Gerald; Is there any way I can upload these Tennessee Ernie Ford Show videos to a Dropbox app I have installed on my tablet? That way I won't lose the shows if your channel is ever deleted by TH-cam. Yours truly, Margaret Garnto.
I've always loved the Everly Brothers!! I had a big crush on them, especially Don!! Was watching them yhe night they had a big fallout on stage, and parted ways!! I couldn't believe it! And it was years before they made up!!

That has got to be one of the best guest performances that Phil and Don ever did and I have seen most of them!
I'm here for the Everly Brothers. I grew up listening to them. Great and real talent.

Old peapicker Ernie had a very fine choir; they sang superbly and more suits, ties and dresses!
This was telecast the day after Maj. Yuri Gagarin's (USSR) one-orbit trip into space making him the world's first human space traveler.
tC never watched this outstanding show before, but it is true: all the famous singers with French song.
I didn't know Charlie Brown animations were made that early.

Great! Thanks for posting this. I used to have hair like that. The Brothers' hair, not Mr. Ford's. And how about that 1961 Ford Galaxie convertible!
If the television produced clean family entertainment again
