Draw everything, compare and make exercises. Org Chem is not about memorizing a bunch of drawings, it's a puzzle that you can complete just by looking at the reactants

Just saw this short so late reply but, holy moly yeah this wasn't helpful at all!!! Organic Chemistry can be the easiest class of all time if you start with a foundation made of diamond (carbon lol) in a funny way it's just studying the interaction of what a lone pair does. It is really that easy: My teacher always tells me it's about Acid and Bases but even more it's just the Lone Pair and how it reacts to other molecules (+/-), creates resonance, and what it does under certain environment's (Alkynes, Heat, protic, nonprotic etc.)
