For the first time I disagree. On day one I think the most important thing is giving the puppy time to settle down. Having just been removed from his family the main thing is to make the puppy feel safe and get a close bond to the owner.
So true! I think that the Lab’s puppy stages are some of the most challenging; however, with “rules and boundaries”, they become an incredible companion! In my opinion, their intelligence and lovable nature really shine when their exuberance is checked.
