Very interesting. I use the gum in my hot sauce to avoid separation. I'll try my hand at gluten free as I have two family members with gluten issues and my previous attempts have not been good
Hi I Have A ❓ Do I Need All Of Them Binder's??I Love to Cook & Bake My Own Breads I Bought S Gluten Free Flour, lol I Am So Confused With It! Yes Duh Lisa I Need A Binder, So Do I Buy All Of Your Binders that You Sharing??:
Yes you do need a binder! I use them differently depending on the recipe I am making. For any kinds of breads I would use psyllium husk powder. For baked goods I will use xanthan gum. So I would say you just need those two binders!
Hi. I have been making your sourdough bread for several years and was wondering if you have switched that recipe to use psyllium powder in this recipe. I would like if my bread did not turn out so dense and was wondering if switching to psyllium would make for less dense. Thanks
The psyllium husk does help in this department some, however I have not been able to nail down a good recipe with psyllium husk yet. I have tried a bunch but it just doesn't have the same rise.
