    what we do here in denmark it to buy a piggyback like det3 or microsquirt or use a stock 4efte ecu, rest used like a ct9 with manifold and stuff, most people make 160-170hp safe for years. for no money at all pretty much :) the 4efe here have thicker rods after 97 so you can run 170-180 before pistons go

      However that 16psi wasn't with a fuel cut defender, it was with a Tuntable microtech ecu...

    Please help I have a White Toyota Starlet EP91 Manual With a Bolt On Nissan Silvia S14 T28 Turbo With Waste Gate & Screamer Downpipe with Ebay Manifold and Stock NA 4E-FE ECU.

    Should I go get it Tuned & Change the Spark Plugs? Because I went there and they said they can't help me tune a Stock NA ECU Wtf?
    "The OEM ECU is not accessible in either of those models - we don't have software that allows for remapping the OEM ECU. You might be able to fit a turbo model ECU if that's a route you wanted to go down, but it won't be tuneable any more than your existing one is"

    • @MattBerrymotorsport
      @MattBerrymotorsport  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should still idle perfect on the stock ecu even without the FCD so long as you are still running the stock injectors. If you have bigger injectors that’s your problem…
      If you still can’t figure it out take the fcd off as it should still run and drive perfect without boost. If it’s still a problem you have a fuel pressure issue

      Anyways I'm in Sydney Marrickville and talked to Tunehouse Shop Mechanic and this is what they said which is kinda BS:
      "The factory ECU in that model isn't accessible for tuning using software only - you'll need to look at fitting an aftermarket engine management system and configure and tune that to suit. Typical costs vary depending on the brand and specification of ECU used, but full setup including all parts, sensors, labour, dyno time and tuning generally start around $3,500 and move up from there"
