Worms are amazing for not only providing great nutrition to your soil but also great at aerating your soil. After realizing how terrible our soil was we decided to improve it naturally by attracting more worms to our garden area.

I just dig holes in my garden all over the place and the worms eat it. I dont see the point if the plastic pail

I would say you could harvest the castings from the bucket to add other places maybe. Million ways to make vermicpost and use it.
