Simply wonderful, congratulations! I'm also, to a large extend, self-taught, but I must admit your level of technique and skills is far, far ahead of mine. Some time ago I learned to play 'La Valse'. You play this piece differently, but this sort of difference is actually something I love hearing in your performances, as well as in those of other musicians. It reminds and teaches me how differently we can feel and express the same music scores. In fact, it helps to broaden our horizons and discover new approaches to musical expression. Thank you very much for that. I really appreciate and enjoy listening to your arrangements and performances. Have you considered sharing some short hints or tutorials on how you practice and create music arrangements? Eg. in a form of YT Shorts? Such videos would be incredibly welcome and valuable to amateurs like myself, who are striving to learn how to express music in more beautiful ways, just as you do. Looking forward to new pieces. 🙇♂

Oh my goodness. How weird is that I just recommended this movie to a friend of mine 2 days ago and stumble upon this yesterday? SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! You're amazing. I have to see Amelie (one of my all time favorite movies ) for at least the 5th time now again. The music itself helps make the movie what it its for sure.
This one was heavy. I was really excited for the release of this suite. In the time between your previous video and this one some very sad and intense life events happened. I was very much in the eye of the hurricane until I sat here to listen to your arrangement and your music really brought me back to earth. I got this surge of feelings all at once and when I got to La Valse d'Amelie, which is one of my favorite pieces of all time, it broke me down (in a good way because I needed this). There's such beauty in your playing. The changes you make to the pieces (yes, I noticed them), even if in the form of rubato, are, in lack of a better word, just perfect. I've also never seen La Dispute played with such emotion. You are a fantastic performer. I'll never forget the experience of watching this, and I apologize for taking this long to comment, I needed some time to get my head in place to figure out what I wanted to say. Thank you for this! After watching your videos countless times (likely hundreds) over the last few months, you’ve inspired me to start playing piano. I took the plunge and bought one 4 days ago. I’ve managed to learn La Valse d’Amelie and Comptine d’un auger ete (beginner level) in that time. Two of the most beautiful musical masterpieces I’ve ever heard. Thanks and look forward to many more performances in the future. 🎼🎹
