Checking out MotoRousa's 1994 Honda Goldwing GL1500, purchased for $1500 and currently undergoing restoration. Don't forget to subscribe to his channel for more GL1500 content. I recently test rode the GL1500; being an owner of the GL1100 Goldwing, I appreciate its significance as one of Honda's final super tourers before downsizing the Goldwing.
I just got one, still discovering all the little features. Thanks for explaining the reverse!
Yesssirrrr. Can’t wait to finish it up. Goldwing 1500 and 1800 are notorious for head shake/wobble around 35mph especially on deceleration. Mostly it will be fixed with a new front tire and possible head bearing but I checked the bearing and I don’t feel no binding or play in it. I will see if it still does it after I change the front tire and change the fork oil. Should be like a new bike after that…hopefully lol. Thanks for the shoutout!
That "shake" is FAR more likely to be the steering head bearings, at 90k miles.
Replace them.
I sent my 95 GL1500 to the shop to get ready for spring… will not need a ton of work because I did most of what was needed 3 years ago. But it sadly has been garaged for 3 years now.
Did you want to sell it?
@@motardsquid nope just want to ride again… being a parent means that I typically put a child on the bus on my way to work and pick them up after work on my way home. Then on weekends I am doing housework that doesn’t get done during the week… but the riding itch has become more frequent and I decided to scratch it
good job sir.
Nice job
$1000??? I paid $17,000 for one from 1988. In Argentina everything motorcycles are much more expensive.
Did you just say 6 cylinders 😮, a two wheeler.
Yeah 6! My gl1100 had 4 cylinders
