I watched every ep from the first until 1990. Those two decades had the best cast and best skits. I remember this skit when new. When I was 18, Steve Martin was on it, singing King Tut and in costume. Classic.
The "Mr. Richard Feder of Fort Lee, New Jersey" was an actual person. He's the brother-in-law to Alan Zweibel, the SNL writer who wrote most of the Roseanne Rosannadanna and Emily Littella skits.

Gilda was a gem and no wonder Gene fell for her. No one could do what she did so well. HEr numerous characters were pricless. Emily Letilia (?) being one of my faves also. The First cast was the BEST hands down. It went on and was great til 80's Imho , though the Dana Carvey days was last troupe I liked or endured. We need Church Lady back.Ha.

OK, who is here in August 2019?? I think Gilda is my favorite comedian ever. I cherish her characters and no matter who wrote the words, there is no one in the world who could have delivered them like Gilda! What an amazing and brilliant woman.
“You belong in New Jersey!”
She was on the same level as John Belushi.
Such a magical time. Such great memories.
She was the best still laugh when I see her acting!!
Absolutely pure comedic genius! God bless Gilda Radner.
I watched every ep from the first until 1990. Those two decades had the best cast and best skits. I remember this skit when new. When I was 18, Steve Martin was on it, singing King Tut and in costume. Classic.
"and when she picked the little piece of sweater out of her belly button, it didn't fall off..." LOLOL!
The "Mr. Richard Feder of Fort Lee, New Jersey" was an actual person. He's the brother-in-law to Alan Zweibel, the SNL writer who wrote most of the Roseanne Rosannadanna and Emily Littella skits.
I've watched this clip so many times--it's still priceless!! I love Gilda always and forever!!
I have it in my "Go To" favorites whenever I need an internal smile to burst forth in joy 🌟🌟💖🌟🌟
I love you Gilda I remember watching you on SNL always putting a smile 9n my face. My mom died in 1993 9f cervical cancer.you are two angles now 7n heaven.Gone but in my heart forever.❤
Hello Michele

classic comedy, pure gold
I just loved Gilda & yes she died way to young! Ovarian cancer! Bless her heart!
Timeless. That's what great comedy is. I want some banana Roseannadanna cake!

Faithfully gathered with friends to watch this and party. Great Saturday Nights.. DonKirshners Rock Concert..
Good old days..
I went as Rosanne Rosannadanna for Halloween one year.
Hello Renee
How are you doing today?
Gilda was the best... Roseanne Roseannadanna, Baba Wawa, Emily Litella, Judy Miller... all so hilarious!
Happy Happy Birthday Gilda! You were soooooo funny!!!!! I really love you and miss seeing you! I can't believe you would be 73 years old! I can't believe you have been gone 30 years now. It seems only yesterday you were making us all laugh on SNL. I hope you are happy where you are!
That one still makes me laugh loud and long! Truly a unique character by a phenomenally gifted woman.
This was the first SNL skit I ever saw. I think I might've been 7 or 8. Now I'm a huge fan of the show but this is still my favorite!
OK, who is here in August 2019?? I think Gilda is my favorite comedian ever. I cherish her characters and no matter who wrote the words, there is no one in the world who could have delivered them like Gilda! She wrote that book, "It's Always Something" and it is the best 3 words ever written. I"m sure I'm not the only one who has adopted them in their everyday vocabulary!! Thank you Gilda, you live on forever...not THAT is a true entertainer.
I'm here in October 2019!
If you were young in those days how could you
Not watch this stuff ? They were great!
Gilda Radner was arguably the funniest lady to ever walk the stages of SNL.
That hair-do is wild 'n crazy 🎀😁🎀
Gilda the one and only original snl funny girl peace We love you forever
She was the ORIGINAL period. Funny and authentic.
Mr. Fader I live in NJ like you do, I feel your pain.
