as far ive researched and i did a lot, its not a Ferrari 308 head its a misconception, the head isn't from ferrari as in the car company its from ferraris which was a small Italian company that did this head and made very few of them even the valve cover doesn't say ferrari it says ferraris

Cividale Castelmonte is a scary, narrow, twisty road...more suited to Vespa then racecar. The frist time I ride it (motorcycle) I thought they must be mad to race here... ...mad but very skillfull.... The car and the driver are fantastic, graet video.

Plus,if you want either of TCR and GT race cars be competitive on hillclimb you’ll still have to do adjustments and bit of modifications to have them perform. As nice as they are,they still fall short against something like car in video and where you get idea of real race drivers anyway?Isn’t that what guys like Ticci,Dondi,Schagerl,Bratschi or Meisel are?

In other hand i like home builded cool Hill climb cars like SuperFast SLK when i saw it first time i fall to love with that car or crazy 1000Hp Evos or some cool looking BMWs etc.
If a race car be diminutive in size be sure not to miscalculate its ferocity, particularly when driven by a pilot of exceptional skill, for it may devour its prey like a Lion on the hunt. SPECTACULAR machine, the skill of the driver none less so.
Uk had a huge Special Saloons scene in the 1980s ...cars like this raced at all the famous circuits every weekend. Tony Dickenson raced a Chevron F5000 chassis with a Skoda silhouette body which ran a 2 litre hart 420 R ..amazing

Because if they went with engines bigger than 1.4L, they would have trouble in packaging this in the motorcycle's frame, and it would also be heavier, meaning that it would be harder to manuver it in the corners, and manuverability is everything for motorcycles. Same can be applied to cars, since this is pure simple physics.

Love this car. Not too sure about the engine. Why create such unusual combo? Do you save that much on weight? Always wanted to see an X1/9 with 13b or 20b. Feels like it would be a perfect fit for this platform
The Lampredi iron block is what makes the car in the upload eligible to race as a modified production car. The established benchmark for a swapped (NA) X1/9 is likely the 580kg 210bhp Polini Racing version uses a 1398cc R1 Yamaha bike engine and transmission. You would need to lengthen the wheelbase and widen the track, and use different control arms if you're going to use the Dallara style nose and outer wings. Good luck regardless I'm sure it will be fn insane with a rotary 👋

Lightweight alone isn't enough. In Belgium they also use cross karts for hillclimbs, which are way lighter, but the rear end is all over the place.
