I’ve worn the QC Ultras nearly every day since they shipped from preorder. These have been worn in my office for 2-4 hours at a time. They’ve been excellent for bringing a fuller sound over the QC35 and QC45. Just wore them for about 8 hours straight overseas and back and used less than 50% battery and the comfort was incredible. I sleep in my headphones on flights and these are so comfortable. Unrivaled comfort! Where these headphones REALLY take a step back is dropping the on/off switch for an on/off button…which is right by the play/pause button. They also lost the volume buttons for a touch sensitive slider and I kind of hate that. I find myself hitting the (quick action) as I fumble around looking for the volume slider. Immersive audio is actually terrible - strongly discouraged using that feature all together. Noise cancellation on the QC Ultras is NOTICEABLY much better than anything I’ve worn previously. On a flight, I’ve never experienced anything like these. It’s unreal. Overall? I just wish these had the QC45 controls.
@@sppochI have them and have used them for months for work out! They work awesome! The slim profile stay out the way and the tight fit stay in your head and they do the best out of any headphone anc wise for blocking out noise. Xm5s and AirPods Max included I’ve tried them all
I'm not an audiophile but I love my Beats Studio Pros. I'm extremely happy with the ANC and the sound quality. That being said, I only paid 80.00 for my Beats because of some credits I had at Best Buy. I have never owned a pair of Bose headphones but I plan on picking up a pair in the next month or so. I hope they kick the cans out of the Beats!
Currently listening to this video with my new QC Ultras that I got recently on a Black Friday deal. I got these because of the comfort, small footprint and ANC because I wanted a pair of headphones I could wear during all day in the office and while commuting. So far I'm happy with my purchase :)

Maybe I received a dud but my headset had a very annoying tendency to shut down seemingly at random, and I ended up returning it 3 days later. Regarding the sound, I find Bose's implementation more pleasant. The bass, mid and treble are balanced and more 'neutral' than the Sony. They are not a 'reference' pair of headphones but are more 'neutral' than others. This to me is a plus for the Bose. For your reference, at home I often use a pair of HD600 for everything (e.g. casual listening, work, zoom calls, playing piano) hope this helps :)

As an airpods max owner myself they suck between switching apple devices. It'll be connected to my phone but when i move to my mac or ipad the audio doesnt switch...the ecosystem compatability if just a gimmick. It doesnt really work all that well
So I currently have a pair of Bose QC45’s and I love them. They sound amazing and the noice cancellation seems to do the job for me. I have just started to notice recently that they are seeming to get old. I’ve had them for I want to say almost 3 years now and when I listen to them at maximum volume the bass for almost completely disappears. I love the bass on the Bose it’s very good (not physical but it sounds good and it gets deep) I just wish it stayed more consistent at higher volumes. Additionally, they have a bit of distortion at max volume and it irritates my ears a little. Anyways, I want a new pair of headphones. Should I get the QC Ultra or AirPod Max? I use an iPhone and don’t use a wired connection very often. If the Bose QC Ultra have consistently good bass and no distortion at high volume I’d rather have the Bose. If not I might go for the Max. Pls someone help 😭
the noise cancellations would help to have text of the brands + control, and highlighting the one being active/tested. As well as switching to control in between the products. It was a bit confusing following what was going on.
I’m an iPhone user on an SE 2020 (yea, old, ik) and the most important things to me are sound quality and ANC plus I find the AirPods Max to be pretty comfortable so I would probably go with those HOWEVER the case is horrid and £499 is nowhere near reasonable. Maybe if I had that kind of money lying around in the future I’d make the decision
I hate it when people use throw away lines like ‘these are just status symbols’ when referring to apple products. It's incredibly juvenile. I don't care what people think of my headphones. I wear them at home. I love the Max’s sound. I also have the Bose 7. I'll probably get the Ultras too. Just for that stupid line about status symbols I'm not coming back to this channel 😅. I think it says far too much about the reviewer
I ain't got a big head, so it might be a bit bias. But the studio pros, even though the design has been carried on for ages look tons better in my opinion. Even though they might not sound as nice as the others, there still a premium product, and the design is just so ascetically pleasing to look at and that makes them my favourite.
The noise cancelation (especially wind noise ) is MUCH better in the AirPods max.The Bose work so hard to cancel the wind noise that what I'm listening to is damped down. I'm returning them even though I got them on sale. Also the switching back and forth between my iPhone and IPad is worse with the Bose. I prefer the Airpods but they cost too much. If you only use the Bose at home or an office they would be the better choice, but that's not my use case.
ive found it actually sounds pretty poor and fake sounding. Of course thats just how i feel and i also have airpods max so that might be a reasoning to me it sounds this way.
after using the AirPods Max for about 3-4 months, im searching everywhere for different headphones. the "cool" little head band wears out and sags taking away the support making them uncomfortable. I only wear them with a hood if I have a haircut because they are itchy as hell. last but not least, they have a fatal condensation issue where water builds up behind the removable earcups after like 30min to 1hr of use which is causing them to have a lot of stuttering in the audio making me rewind videos all the time, an issue they didn't have when I bought them. the seamless transitions between all my devices is so amazing that its honestly breaking my heart that I am forced to switch since these are such an awful product. I would never recommend them to anyone unless you purely want to buy an awful product for the sake of flexing on the brokies. best part is they fixed nothing with the new ones.
Can you use the Bose Qc ultra or the Bose qc attached to the ps5 controller e and playing and contemporarily speaking with friends while playing with the headphones microphone and no external microphone?
For so e reason i like the beats pros case. I know it doesnt orotect as well but i can just throw them in the soft case and move on. I like the bose case too, but it took me a while to get used to the configuration to putting them Away.
Trying to look for a pair that would best fit for people with glasses. I've tried the q45's but after a few minutes, the pressure between my glasses and my head felt uncomfortable. What would y'all think would be the best headphones with glasses?
airpods max are the best here. Ive tried qc45 xm4 xm5 momentum 4 airpods max and the new qc ultra. They all are not really the best with glasses but the ear pads and cushon style of the airpods max are much more friendly on the area then any of the others by far with a close second being the QC ultra but they tend to feel more like the qc45 after like 35-40 mins
Trying to find my daughter a replacement for her Beats Studio 3s. Our car has a nice sound system with strong bass. When I have a song with strong bass playing it messes up the sound in her Beats. I don’t want to spend all that money on the AirPods Max and have been looking at the Sony ones as a replacement. Any advice?
The best Sony choices are the xm4 and xm5. The xm4s have really good sound quality but less efficient ANC. The sony xm5 have extremely good anc ( one of the best in the market ) but less good sound quality.. they have a muffled sound honestly
We had the same problem with my daughter’s beats! We needed up getting the Bose QC ultra 2022 version and she said it still does it, but not nearly as bad as the Beats did. It’s tolerable.
thats how you buy knock offs which are extremely hard to define today they have had years to perfect them. Only but from apple or reputable sellers like best buy or target etc not even amazon can be trusted with these things
Ngl the airpods max is some of the most outdated products even for apple standards especially that silly lightning port. The QC Ultra , XM5 and Mommentum 4s are by no means perfect but are still far better and make more sense then the airpods max and the beats studio pro.

They do. They really blow the beats out of the water if your into more vocals than bass.
