Happy New year wish you and your family all the best for 2025! Thank you so much this was perfect I was trying to make a sheet I seriously need a desktop
Happy New Year! Yes, you can do this on the phone but it’s a little harder. Definitely recommend a computer. Even a cheap one will do the trick for inputting spreadsheet info 😄
@@MarkGavura sales tax is collected by the platform. No need to log it or include it in your taxes. That platforms you sell on take care of that on their end
This is sooo helpful! I created my own sheet but I have too much, useless, information on it. This will help me finetune what I’ve already got. Thank you!
Anyway you can show a depop one or as a quick short?I use depop shipping and usually boost my items would I need to skip over the shipping cost like poshmark If I use depop shipping labels and shipping is usualy same price? Thanks for clarifying!
Correct. Depop charges that to the customer and you never get a cut of it. So just skip it. All you would do for Depop and put in COG and your transaction fee
In the inventory sheet… do you delete an item after something sales and then transfer it to the sales sheet? How do you go about that? Would love a video explaining
@ I don’t use the inventory portion. When an item sells, I just add it to my spreadsheet. I have the cost of goods in my SKU, so I add that in at the time of sale
WOW - THANKS FOR THIS! I'm curious - how do you keep up with inventory UNTIL it sells? For example, I've purchased a few items this week, but haven't listed them yet. Do you keep a spreadsheet of items until you list them? Also - what about items that you've listed but have not sold yet?
You can keep another spreadsheet. What I do is mark the thrift tags as they come in. So then when I list them, we know exactly what we paid. At the time we list, we remove the tags and put the price we paid in the custom sku. Items that haven’t sold we have the sku to know what we paid. If you need a spreadsheet with an inventory log, Jason’s is a great option. As you bring items in, you add them directly to the inventory portion of your sheet. When you add them into your inventory, you can add their inventory number into that log as well.
Thanks so much for this! We just started reselling the last few months of 2024 and getting a better tracking system was a goal for 2025! Do you use this same sheet for Whatnot and just do a total for each show or how do you handle that?
Another question... after I have all my inventory in the spreadsheet, can I search for a item like I'm doing a Google search? So I don't have to scroll to find?
@ and for returns you enter the info as negative in spreadsheet on new line? Sorry for all the questions. Just started part time last year as more of a hobby. Wanna take it serious and hit some goals. Hopefully go full time
@ for returns you would go back to the sales data and reenter the numbers based off your return. Most of the time it will result in a negative earnings
Can you share your inventory spreadsheet? Do you delete the item from that sheet once it is sold then copy and paste the item to your Profit/Loss spreadsheet? Thank you for this video. I am new to Google Sheets and am having trouble working with it, but you have helped and encouraged me to move forward. My bookkeeping needs help! Thank you so much for this video. Wish me luck!
Good question. This year I’ll have Autoposher do most of the work. I’ll use Jason spreadsheet for whatnot orders until autoposher integrates whatnot. Then Autoposher will basically do everything
This was awesome. Thanks so much for the walkthrough. Now I can list my first ever item on ebay!
Thanks! exactly what I have looking for for 2 years! Hobby part time seller so this was perfect!
You are my first ever super chat in a video! I really appreciate that! Glad we could help!

Spreadsheet made. Thank you so much for explaining how to do formulas. 🙂 Goals=Just DO more !
Hey, you stole my goal! 😅 You’re welcome! Thanks for commenting!
Thanks you!!! The formulas is knowledge I needed! No more using a calculator 😂😂

YOU ROCK! I needed this! Love your generosity! Thank you so much! ❤

Lol I’m still stuck on step 3 again I lost the sheet I’m a dork thank you tho for simplifying it
Thanks but what about SALES TAX?

the formulas are confusing to me, but thank you for sharing! i did just the basic one

If you are talking about Jason’s Spreadsheet, yes. He also has a full guide video that comes with his spreadsheet
@ I’m curious on how you do yours
@ I don’t use the inventory portion. When an item sells, I just add it to my spreadsheet. I have the cost of goods in my SKU, so I add that in at the time of sale
@ do you use another sheet with cost of goods, sku, and date bought?
@ COG and Inventory number is in my SKU. That all gets logged into Jason’s Spreadsheet at time of sale. I don’t track date purchased
How do you track items you buy in bulk?
Let’s say you buy 50 items for $50. You would track that as $1 per unit in your spreadsheet

I'm doing something wrong. I've gone over everything but the last two columns keeps saying #VALUE! Any suggestions anyone?
Thank you 🎉
You are welcome! 😄
Do you reccomend keeping all the receipts I have from thrift store purchases? For cost of goods proof?
Yes. Always keep receipts. You can either stash them away or there are apps you can use to upload and save them.
Thanks so much for this! We just started reselling the last few months of 2024 and getting a better tracking system was a goal for 2025! Do you use this same sheet for Whatnot and just do a total for each show or how do you handle that?
We don’t use the free sheet. We use Jason’s spreadsheet to track whatnot sales. It has a designated area for whatnot tracking.
Another question... after I have all my inventory in the spreadsheet, can I search for a item like I'm doing a Google search? So I don't have to scroll to find?
Ctrl F and then type in the item you are looking for. It will highlight it for you
Hi! Do you calculate the sales tax you paid into your price per goods?
Yes, sales tax is part of my COG

@@susannekatya Love to hear it! Jason’s spreadsheet has a spot for inventory and sales. If you need something more in depth, I would go with that one.
@ I need the easiest way possible. I am NOT tech savvy at all, but willing to learn the basics. Your video is my style. Thanks.
@ Thank you! 😊 Glad I could help
Would love to see your inventory sheet
How do you go about tracking your mileage?
I use the MileIQ app
Do you have two spreadsheets? One that you fill in yourself & one that Auto posher provides?
Good question. This year I’ll have Autoposher do most of the work. I’ll use Jason spreadsheet for whatnot orders until autoposher integrates whatnot. Then Autoposher will basically do everything

You can do that with this sheet
My goal this year is to make $1,000 profit. This is just a hobby for me. Maybe when I retire, I will do more :)
