I also visit the odd charity shop (or as they're known here .. op shops). Yesterday Adult Son and I drove to Adelaide, 90 minutes away. We had errands to run. I stopped in one op shop at found cookbooks from Gordon Ramsay and Mrs Beaton. Mrs Beaton was a recent reprint. At least the Gordon Ramsay cookbook doesn't have the foul mouth of TV Gordon.
I love that you call them Op Shop what does Op mean ? ☺️ I do love a good cook book. I have many, mostly cake decorating ones, but have had to put them in the loft, I was running out of space to put them ! Ha ha yes the book by Gordon is probably better, no foul language ☺️ great finds 💖 x x
@@justjaney7 Op Shop is short for Opportunity Shop. I used to use cookbooks for special meals but since getting covid, I use my cookbooks almost daily. Covid did a great job messing up my taste and smell, so I can't judge meals I used to 'wing it.'
