Hey Maestro, I met you on Sunday at 9 Mile and AFH. Nice bit of riding you did on your new Moto Guzzi. I would not have believed it if I did not see it that that bike could do what you did with it on the tires it had! You definitely have earned your name, Maestro!
That was a Guzzi? Sorry, I thought it was an Aprilia twin. Loved the sound! I wish I had this resource about 40 years ago. I threw her into the weeds too many times . . . OK maybe 3 -4 . . . I just didn't "trust the rubber" as I admonish riders to do these days. Now, I'm well past the "sell by date", but still riding. Now in the Western North Carolina mountains. I know that dreadful day will come when I have to hang up my helmet, drain the fluids form the Triumph, and roll 'er into the living room, but NOT YET! Loved the vid. I've never ridden the Angeles Crest, but a lot of the Northern Cali roads. I lived in the Bay Area for a bunch of years.
It is actually an Aprilia V4. I think you picked up on the Guzzi reference from one of the recent comments. I do have a couple of Guzzi videos though and more coming in the Spring. Do you ride the Tail of the Dragon out there in NC?
I've seen you up on ACH before but have never met you. I'm happy that I found your channel and I can finally put a face to the name. Thank you for the very informative videos. I usually go up a couple of times per week.
I was up there with Bart on sat. Love the video. Newcomb to 9mile is my fav road. Since I’m on a 650 every other road I get passed. Very helpful I applied everything that I can remember and it made a huge diff. The turns that seem sketchy where not bad at all

Hey Adam. Yes, I have been using Cup 2's for a couple of years now after running Supercorsas forever. The Supercorsas are outstanding tires but only last 700 miles for the rear and 1200 for the front. I get 1100 and 2000 respectively out of the Michelins. I also have an RSV4 which you will see in future videos. And to respond to your second comment, the answer is "Yes!" we do know just how fortunate we are. Eventually I will introduce you to dozens of California roads. I also plan to set up week long tours once the channel gets traction. Please pass the link along to your riding crew!

whatsup with the last 30% of the video you inserted a different riding audio over the footage. could tell it was off. why do that ?
