The Rivage palette gives me similar vibe to the Tweed Fauve from Chanel's tweed release. Which by the way I absolutely LOVED on you. Especially with the fall orange blouse you wore during your demo video. That palette looked stunning on you. Anyway, the colors of this palette give me a similar vibe with the colors. The tangerine/orange'y colors, yellow.... when red/orange color from tweed was applied to your eye lid, it looked like a gorgeous coral. Beautiful
Hi Lisa, thank you! I was just thinking about the Tweed eyeshadows this morning and how I haven't used Fauve for a while. I think I should do a My Everyday Makeup Video using it. I like the formula of the Chanel over this Dior quint as it's not all satins 🦋
@@NightStarBeauty I'm glad you mentioned that about the formula. I've heard a few other you tuber's mention not loving that all five shades were satin in the new dior palettes. A shame there wasn't at least 1 or 2 matte shades. More mature eyelids do not fare well with everything satiny. Overall, do you see yourself using either of the two new dior palettes again? I'm torn on purchasing. They look gorgeous in pictures online but definitely a different vibe when I see the colors applied in videos. I wish I had a local store who sold them so I could go see in person. I was really hoping Chanel would launch NEW les beige eye palettes. I love Les Beige. I love Chanel. I've honestly never tried any Dior eyeshadows. How do you feel about Dior AND Tom Ford shadows? I purchased a Tom Ford palette last summer and ended up returning it. All four shades were that satiny formula or "wet" formula that most women seem to love but not so much me. They make my eye lids look crepey. I think it was called Tiger, the name of the TF palette I purchased & returned. But I LOVE Chantecaille's eyeshadows.... LOVE them. Monte Carlo duo is my favorite. It is so ethereal on my eyelids.

Not surprised to hear that. History repeats, especially in fashion and makeup. I love the Eden Roc one 🦋
