Dior usually nails their seasonal collections, and summer was always a fave of mine...they always manage to give the yacht party on the Riviera vibe in a whole color story. Hi Lexi oh my bees , i remember those days😂. In Europe, we used to have those and others a lot. I cant count on my fingers, how many times i were stunged 😩 Here in SF , i havent had that issue😅 yes that blue 😍, if i would decide to get that quintet, would be because of it.🤪 but i think blue velvet is pretty close. And particularly i liked when i saw someone use the lightest shade over the blue. And it became very beautiful bright blue. I think i can achieve that by using over any light golden shade from Dior holiday one or some chanel ones, maybe from pearl le blanc collection🤔 so i probably going to pass on this . I did not expect those warm shades to look as great on you - but that beautiful grey-based blue shade effectively neutralizes the orange tone. I appreciate your comparisons with other shadows and palettes. Thank you for mentioning that the highlighter is glittery - and featuring comparisons with other brands’ luminizers. The 006 Lip maximizer shade really complements the look. (The blue nail polish is really gorgeous but I will go for the more traditional orange nail polish in that collection.) After seeing the swatches I really like the Eden Roc palette. I’ll for sure be picking that one up. I’m not sure about the highlighters but prob will get one of them. Great review! I also got the blue palette and pink highlighter and I got the orange nail polish. Since you mentioned the highlighter has glitter, I may just return that unopened. I really, really hate glitter on my face. I’m outside with my kids a lot, and sunlight just lights those glitter particles up!

it’s such a sophisticated summer quint color story! i love blues but they don’t always love my complexion back 😂. it’s helpful knowing these are softer formulas tho. i was tempted by the luminizer.. it’s not nearly as glittery as rare beauty or the bobbi brown holiday palettes right? i don’t typically like glitter in my highlighter. i prefer a sheen unless it can be buffed out more? those gift boxes and bags are beautiful 🥰
Definitely not as shimmery as those but if you prefer just a sheen, it's probably still too much for you. I'm testing the new Guerlain highlighter so maybe that will be a better choice. I will be sure to compare them.

Hi Lexi! As always a great video. I ordered the palette but now I think I will order the highlighter. Most of my blushes are either chanel or chantecaille and they are pink - can I use that color or more peachy color . My skin tone is like yours but peach and coral looks great on you not on me
I think if you want a change, this has pink along with some of the peachy rose gold tones so it would work on you. I also think it is gorgeous as a blush if you mix it with a cool pink blush. It's just a very pretty combination imo.
Hi Lexi! Thank you for investing in and featuring this new Dior collection. I really appreciate all the shade comparisons with other brands. It seems that Dior has been sticking to warm base and transition shades so far this year. (Even though the “colour of the year” is a cool fuchsia pink.) The gorgeous silvery blue shade is definitely the star of the quint. Thank you for mentioning that the highlighter is glittery. It’s the brushes you used that I am most impressed with. Seeing you use these brushes is a testament to their quality. I am going to shop for some of those. BTW, I am envious because I have not seen a bee since August. In fact, not only is everything still covered in snow, but there is a huge ice storm going on here, since yesterday, and half the city has no electricity. I live next to a golf course and every 5 minutes or so, I hear an ice-covered tree branch cracking loudly just before hitting the snow-covered ground. Thanks again for another great video - my day’s fix 😅

not a fan of this collection, the color story is nice, it's like a neutral denim, but overall I wish it would be more vivid, and the blue more blue with no dark base :) thank you Lexi for the review ❤

I just feel like these Asians brands getting more and more interesting lately putting Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford on sideway a bit. I might want to try Luna Sol and Suqqu more in future...
