hundreds, if not thousands, of 13 year old guitarists can do what was revolutionary for Clapton and other rockers of the 60s and 70s. But they weren't imitators, they invented it (with help from T-Bone Walker, Albert King and other Blues musicians) Don't think they can do Hendrix, however.
Also should be noted I'm a listener, not a player.
