    Can you do a video demonstrating how to use this? Thanks

    I use an SME Loricraft machine. It does a great job (assuming one follows the directions - most online videos show incorrect use of the machine).
    It’s quiet and relaxing, at least for me, to use and does a really nice job. The Loricraft is fast when touching up new records. When cleaning old records the Loricraft takes about 20 minutes to clean a record.

    Everything works very well and cleans well.
    However, the working part becomes wet only after 5 minutes. You wanted to listen music, and wait 5 minutes.
    It is better to pour it on a brush and wash it.

    Interesting! Can I have a question? Salesman in a local shop here convinced me to buy a goat brush (Tonar woodgoat) because it should (allegedly) be better and more gentle than the carbon one even for dry cleaning as it less likely make scratches. Since I can’t find any mentions about it online (only that it's good for wet cleaning), I got bit nervous if it's really safe to use it dry. What do you think? It's going to be a gift so I can’t try it.

    I have been using a cleaning solution. What do you think about just using straight distilled water if records are not real dirty?

    • @BensAudioCave
      @BensAudioCave  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are dirtier than you think… but distilled does nothing really… see this video for why… the water never gets drop in the grooves because surface tension

    Can you use the 6012 as a dry brush or does it have to have fluid ?

    • @BensAudioCave
      @BensAudioCave  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It can absolutely be used dry… it’s pretty similar material to the old discwasher brushes just no padding…

    When I put the liquid in the holes it doesn’t come through, bone dry for 15 mins. When I put a bit more in, it suddenly floods through!😕. Any ideas?

      Put directly on the cord or brush

    Alcohol isn't great for rubber, dries it out. You can get new pads for that Mofi, it's not made to last indefinitely. Nice washing rig.

      Got new pads… still slipped off… don’t use alcohol any longer… but hey I love all kinds of brushes! I have so many now LOLz 😂

    I enjoy your channel, but with all the cleaning you do when do you have time to listen to the record.

      All I have been doing lately... got all my records cleaned and ultrasonic'd finally and I just brush and listen while working all day :)
