Miss Natasa you are my absolute favorite journal artist, and for good reason! You should do these unplanned projects more often. So much fun to watch it all unfold, hear about your thought processes but best of all I feel it reminds us all to just let go and create. Thank you so much for sharing your genius with us 🌹
I laughed bc it was silly but also i felt that. Making one piece of a project n loving it but not sure if whatever you end up doing next will live up to your hopes. Relatable
I absolutely love this video and journal. In fact, on a trip to get my morning pills, my body went on autopilot, and I grabbed a paperbag, some sewing pattern paper, and a few other things!😊 I am itching to try this. I enjoyed watching you play seeing your process. I love the binding and the closure...I love it all really! Please do more videos like this. God bless.
4:43 Those studs.. I also found this name for them on amazon: ‘Four-Jaw Square Rivets’. 17:02 Those crazy tea bag paper inserts on the cover… how unique and creative! That addition of structure to the lotioned/wrinkled/sponge-painted paper bag in the form of a cardstock rectangle… how clever!! As for the ‘hours’ (hours!) that his journal took to complete… Nothing wrong with that from my perspective… Those hours were hours of fun. Totally repeating this whole experiment with the only difference that I am hand-sewing, not machine sewing (way more enjoyable for me). Thanks a lot for all the inspiration!!
OMG! This project is so COOL! I'm definitely going to try it. I would have thought that the lotion is greasy and so the paint and glue wouldn't stick. Well I guess I was wrong. I loved watching your process. Thank you 😊
You have a unique and incredible talent. I have loved all of your videos! A crumpled up paper bag! When you said you might “frame it” I literally laughed out loud!
I love it!! To me, it's masculine....it would make a great gift for a guy. Thank you for teaching me a new way of making a journal!! I appreciate you!!!! 🧡
(music playing)...Grunge, grunge, grunge, grunge... I love grunge and you just hit the ball out of the park. LOVE IT. Please do more of these. Thanks!!!!
I'm not into grunge much but you make it look attractive! I enjoyed watching you make this journal. I'm so happy that you and Banjo have a good relationship. I know it was rough going in the beginning but I think you did a great job rescuing Banjo. Not just physically but emotionally also. I hope you have many years together ❤
Natasa, I love the way you can piece things together, not only repurposing but also transforming the old everyday things into something new and beautiful. This grunge style is elevated into something unique and stylish, thanks to your signature touch. Thanks for sharing! 😊
This feels a little like going back to your roots! Sometimes structure can get a little boring. This is NOT boring! Imagination is a good thing and it’s so fun when you take us along on your journey! Fun to watch!
Thank you, Ms. Natasa for going outside your beautifully well planned style to bring us an equally beautiful AND inspiring free form journey! Using rocks from your drive to distress and hand lotion that Banjo wanted as a snack is the icing on the cake that sets your videos apart!! Thank you for sharing not just your creativity with us!
Love, love, love. This shows once again that you do not need heaps of purchased materials to make something fabulous. Such a gorgeous result that still is so distinctively Natasa. That closure is delightful. I’m glad you got to play and have fun, and my next medicine bag can look forward to a similar treatment! ❤
I would LOVE more videos of you just playing and having fun. I love your process and also love your way of thinking aloud. You are lovely and fun, and very creative, much better than anything that's on tv! And love your pup aswell. You always give so much, and inspire the need to create. Thank you for sharing. I always enjoy your content. 🖤
What an odd and simply beautiful way to make a paper bag come alive! I kept watching video thinking if Frankenstein had a book to carry with him, this would be it! I guess all the stitches did it for me! (I’m a fan of Frank) Thanks for a new look on grunge👍❤️
Natasa, you never cease to amaze me. Your are not only a terrific teacher but, you are one of the most creative artists in the "junk journal" community. The ease at which you create using the most available items is truly the best. Thank you for the gift of sharing.
You just make me so happy, every time I watch another amazing video you have come up with such wonderful ideas for all us crazy crafters out here to challenge our self with. Thank you so very much for all the time and effort you put in to making your videos so easy to follow and so enjoyable. Love you😍
Love this journal! It has a masculine look. Which is great. Men need journals too. Also a welcomed peek at your dog. Just adore journal videos that include pet family members.
@@luannfischer747that's a great question! i kept the cover of mine very masculine looking . i put a band of black (construction paper) around the journal, b😮t i didn't try paint. let us know if you try acrylics
Natasha, I absolutely love this journal. I couldn’t get over what the hand lotion does to the bag. And love the stick on the binding. That cover is amazing! Love it all! Love seeing your doggie too! So cute! TFS! ❤
I wish that in the "thumbs up" options there were a LOVE IT option. Thanks for always sharing your imagination and creativity with us. It is so very much appreciated. 🥰🥰🥰
Oh Natasa, can 't erase the smile from my face. It is so much fun to watch you doing this impossible thing of turning a paperbag that looks like having been pulled out of the dustbin ( and enjoying its time there) into something special and unique and, yes, beautyful, while listening to your comments....I love your humor , your videos, especially the crazy ones, and the next paperbag that comes around my place better takes care to be up on the tree before I get it. Wait, I am sure I have seen one?...?..thank you for this idea, and I hope that you will have more of them. Greetings from the other side of the world! Jutta
Even though you didn't plan what you were going to do you were still very concise. The way you processed that paper bag really made a great book cover. Love the stick idea. Also, I was so happy that Banjo made and appearance. 🙂
Hello Natasa - How nice Banjo made an appearance! He looks so much calmer compared to when you first rescued him. I was so glad to see he settled into his new home with you and your family! He is very lucky! Lynn
I love how you took pieces of nothing and turned it into something fabulous and useful. I also love how you used the scraps from the signatures and made awesome embellishments. TFS❤
Absolutely beautiful and I can imagine it took hours and hours to complete. Thank you so much for your concise videos and instructions. You are a great teacher!
Oh my goodness…this video made me so happy. I have a whole stack of paper/cardboard rubbish that I challenged myself to making into at least 1 book…you’ve jump started my brain. Thank you for sharing!! 🥰
I LOVE this journal! And I love watching your creative process unfold. Thank you for sharing that in actuality it took several hours, that decisions were made over time and not instantly. Makes me feel better about my "making" process!
Fabulous, creative, love your stuff! I was glad to see something that would appeal to men. Please create/ show some more masculine treasure books we can make as gifts. Also, do you ever worry about the acidity of paper? I have things from parents and grandparents that have faded and yellowed significantly over the decades. Thanks again. You are an inspiration.
My dog loves hand lotion too! After my shower he waits for me to put moisturizer on my legs and then he licks it off. He must have the best moisturized tongue in W.A. !! 😂😂 Love to see Banjo's so settled now.
I love your well-planned videos and lists of steps, but it was fun to watch a different process. I will definitely make this. In fact I may make several to give to friends! Thanks.
💕 hello 🤗 I'm going to make this and love it even more than the previous projects you have created and inspired me to try my own. This is da 💣! Thank you so much for your sharing your creations and showing us in simple steps how we can do it....... even if it takes hours. We need patience and see the beauty as the project progresses. You are a genius manipulator of paper to accomplish the end that you desire ... as someone who has the imagination of a gnat, and rarely takes flights of fancy, but I do LOVE paper and mourn every bit of waste I put into trash (especially if one side of the paper has no writing on it! ... watching and listening to you create, manipulate, and produce objects of fascination just gives me moments of thinking outside of my box! I appreciate also how much precision you present. For me, your videos are quite joyful, with so many possibilities!

hair conditioner works pretty well too, but glycerin works REALLY well!
If you used glycerin would acrylic paint adhere over it? I guess the best way to know for me is to try it on a sample. Lol Thanks for the tip to try

You are a book making genius! Thank you for the hours you spent for our enjoyment! Love to see Banjo=:)
