The Trader Joe's website has a lot of recipes to go with some of these frozen products. For example, there is a "Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice Stuffed Pineapple" recipe using the BBQ Teriyaki Chicken. When I run out of ideas on what to cook, I like to browse the recipes to try something new.

Love the mee krob crispy noodles (vegan) at trader Joe's. It needs fish sauce but is pretty authentic thai flavors. My local Costco just got a lot of new Korean foods in the refrigerated and frozen sections. They also had a similar "cinnamon stuffed pancake " which they were demoing. It was very doughy and not chewy enough. I've eaten the proper Korean version and it doesn't really compare. On the other hand the mini red bean taiyaki were very tasty.

I buy the TJ’s japchae all the time. Delish! Yes, If you microwave them for 3 minutes then take out, stir, put plastic back on and then cook for additional 2 minutes. 😂 Try it again in the microwave. 🫶
Pro tip! If you put a little paper towel between the ramen cup and the plate, it will keep it from sliding around! I do that too so I don't have to hold the hot ramen cup

I love the spicy pumpkin samosas. I could easily finish a box if I didn't watch myself. I will say that several of my family members have tried them and found them too spicy so if you are very sensitive to spicy things it might not be the best buy.
i just tried the squigly noodles and thought the same thing. i had some sriracha so i added that to it and it was delicious. definiteiy needs the garlic and a bit of spice
Love TJS Korean style short ribs doesn’t have a lot of meat but it still it makes a great meal and it has a lot of possibilities from tacos to just served over rice I even like to serve with some instant ramen noodles I also like their pork soup dumplings

I’ll be honest: I have been WILDLY disappointed by Trader Joe’s frozen foods in the past. This video makes me want to give them another chance. I have been disappointed in all the ube products from TJ’s which is sad because I love ube flavor! I am a huge fan of the paneer tikka masala, the flavor rivals my favorite Indian restaurants and is a great vegetarian option! I like the squiggly noodles too but I can get Maruchan ramen in bulk and make my own quick sauce in the same amount of time/effort. I loved the pumpkin samosas too but they were soooo spicy last year!!! I liked it better with a yogurt dipping sauce! ai wonder if maybe not as much this year I wonder if they changed the recipe because in the past it was painful lol
You're lucky because our Trader Joe's never has ube anything ☹️ the palak paneer looks like a Hawaiian dish called Squid Luau.. the spinach texture in that is the same as the luau leaf texture in the squid luau..
Agreed Chicken Karaage too doughy. Texture is off. It’s a good inspired dish but not as good as true karaage. Their other Chinese takeouts like Kung Pao Chicken and Mushroom Chicken and orange chicken are very good.
I don’t like the mayo that comes with the chicken karrage. It taste too vinegary to me. Definitely sub it out for kewpie mayo lol. The cinnamon Korean pancake was a nice treat! I really enjoyed the nice chewy texture. It taste better if you prepare in the air fryer. What isn’t new, but what I tried recently is their beef pho soup. 0/10 do not buy, they somehow made the broth flavorless 💀
