Wow, I just got an introduction to another incredible vocalist. This song hits your soul and gives you goosebumps. The fact that is just a piano and his voice AND it can still touch me the way it did is beyond words. He gained a new fan. Beautiful

I was lucky enough to see one on rock in concert for their one and only London show! On the 1st July for my birthday! It was incredible! I never thought I would have the chance to see them but wow! Taka wrote this with Ed Sheeran xx

His diction is so perfect that even I can understand every word he sings. I have trouble comprehending what someone next to me is saying. Him and Woosung have brought so much joy to me to be able to get into the lyrics as well as the melody.
Taka's singing is so flawless and perfect, and yet he keeps getting even better. A truly beautiful performance that you need to watch is "Your Tears are Mine" live studio session 5. When *We Are"first came out I balled my eyes out, but this song hit me emotionally on a completely different level. I still tear up to we are, but this has a stranglehold on my heart. The message is so beautiful and as someone with severe health problems at 38 I hope to meet someone willing to say what Taka sings.

I am so happy that you love Taka so much. He is such an amazing singer that you feel his emotions when he sings. You can really understand how special Taka's voice is when there is only him and the piano. I love your explanation of musically what is happening and I love your enthusiasm. There's actually a video of Ed Sheeran performing one of his songs with OOR during one of their shows. Renegades was written by Taka, Ed and the front man of the Japanese hard rock band Coldrain, who helped Taka write the English lyrics of several OOR songs. It's because he's half Japanese half American and speaks fluent English.
That’s an great video and they look like they work so well together. This is also the ost to the latest Rurouni Kenshin movie, so good!
@@stillwithyou7072 Taka is actually best friends with the lead actor in Rurouni Kenshin. That's actually why ONE OK ROCK did a song for every movie. The songs are "The Beginning", "Heartache", "Mighty Long Fall", "Renegades", and "Broken Heart of Gold".

@@stillwithyou7072 You're welcome. Being from the US If it wasn't for the Rurouni Kenshin movies I would've never discovered OOR a decade ago. Like you I love "Broken Heart of Gold", especially the live version from Day to Night Acoustic Sessions. If you haven't checked out anything from that live show you definitely should.
Taka has an outstanding voice. One OK Rock is so talented, I wish I could see them live.

Something that’s made One Ok Rock one of my fav bands since I discovered it in 2012 it’s that they are not only about sound but also meaning! All the lyrics to their songs are AMAZING!

That's how i found OOR as well. I first watched Rurouni Kenshin The Origin and after hearing "The Beginning" i was hooked. I'm really glad that I enjoy anime because i never would have found them so long ago.
