I definitely have to agree, I watch a lot of reviews, and this is on a level on its own.
I’ve learned, understood the differences between products, & feel confident in the validity of the review with upfront transparency concerning previous or ongoing partnership with the brand.
      Excellent work 10/10

I appreciate that even in a paid video, you still talk about some features that you actually like most about the competitors. Whoever says you're biased is crazy!

One thing that halation is really great for is communicating the color and intensity of a light that is clipped in the image. To our human eyes, a bright red florescent tube is going to appear red, and as it gets brighter, we see it getting brighter. But a bright red light light in video will likely clip the red, so as it gets brighter in the real world, it will still look like it's the same brightness. And as the light gets even brighter, it will start to appear yellow and then orange, as the green parts of the sensor start getting excited. And if the light is bright enough, it will eventually be white.
A faint red halo around the light will tell our brains that it's a red light. And in that particular case described above, it can't be done well in post. If that bright red light is so clipped that it appears white in the image, and you try to add some bloom in post, that bloom is going to be white, not red, because "white" is all the camera knows about that light. You'd have to go in and pant the bloom the color you want it to be. So that's one example of why people would spend money on a diffusion filter when halation can be added in post anyway.

Killer vid but at 2:25 there is a HUGE miss wording about the use of hairspray. NEVER NEVER NEVER put hairspray on a LENS. It will ruin the coating on your lenses. What some cinematographers do is they spray hairspray on a UV Filter then use that for effect.
Other than than, great info as always. I seriously send our your videos to some of the up & comers I know because the way you share and teach is so damn thorough it covers most questions before they come up. Keep up the great work!

Great point about packaging! I always feel guilty when a package arrives in huge box and wrapped in layers of plastic for nothing. It's meant to be thrown away so it's should be as small and environmentally friendly as possible!
